Yeah, I do (if Neapolitan = Italian). The best I've had is at this place called Brick's in Hudson, WI. It has whatever certification is necessary to be fully legit.

I will admit I'm sure I ran suuuuuper bad at pizza in Italy but it was tilting to say the least.

Forgot to mention, my brother set a new DL WR on Saturday, 175 kg/385 lbs (@ 210 lbs/6'1"), while I struggled with 110 kg again. Fun times. I'm a bit suspicious of my mom, he's got long monkey arms that are prob 7-8 inches longer than mine and we don't look too alike. Hmmm...

5/3/1 + TM Squats - week 1

Intensity squats
1x5x102.5 kg (226 lbs)

Figured I'd start conservatively to have some room to grow even on a deficit.


Sumo DL - 5/3/1 week

Figured I'd not move up to again have some room + squats before the DLs wouldn't help. I felt it a bit in my quads, but not really a problem at baby weights.


Back Extensions
3x8x BW+20 kg (with 2 sec pause at the top)

That pause makes these about twice as hard. FU parlay slow for introducing the idea.


Blast strap fallouts
3x7xBW + 2 sec pause at bottom

Straps very close to the floor (ceiling is super high). If you don't have a high ceiling this is basically not possible and makes the exercise infinitely harder. Gonna suck to go back to the other place come autumn.

I've basically been following RPT since last November. And unlike you I have no illusions* about progressing while deficiting - at least not when dieting down to 10-11%.

ETA: that sounded harsher than I wanted it to in response to a jopke-y post.

ETA2: I do expect my DL to get back to June levels though, so like +25 kg.

As per Wendler, no AMRAP on the assistance work. Fairly easy. Pump score: 5/10.

Mixed all of these up in a circuit, but not really (i.e. 1-2 min breaks in between). Pump score when finished: 8/10.

Holy ****, I'm clearly not used to all these reps. Kinda boring. Triceps pushdowns are in the program as well, but I really had nothing left and there's no way to do them at this location. Think those'll have to move to press day. We'll see.

Did an extra set since RDLs were light today to avoid crippling DOMS. Went fine.

Just 3 light sets due to above.


Back Extensions
2x8xBW +20 kg w/ 2 sec pause


Planks
3x60 secs BW + 20 kg

Fallouts only hit the lower abs, gotta hit the upper abs as well ldo.


Body Weight: 82.5 kg (181.8 lbs, -0.3 kg)

So pro at dieting I lose weight even when not trying. Diet starts monday, aiming for roughly 79 kg/174 lbs, true house cat size.
