Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback and support.

To luv's point, the core bracing stuff has been a recurring issue for more or less the entirety of this log. When I was heavier bodyweight wise it seemed like I could get away with pretty loose form, and my lower back never bothered me, but as I've dieted down it seems like my margin for error has shrunk. But yeah, it's definitely something I want to work on going forward.

Johnnycarson, yeah, my thinking right now is that I needed to keep volume moderate to low because I'm cutting, and recovering session to session has been a struggle as is. Maybe if I cut the intensity a little I can sneak some more volume in with my current diet. My long term plan is to cut for the duration of the summer, and then start a slow bulk in august or september during which I'll up the volume..

Haven't logged in a while but have lifted. I've been in the process of moving and have done all my internet from coffee shops which is annoying.

Anyway,

I can't remember my bench and ohp numbers, but I don't think I've set any PR's there.

I deadlifted on Sunday but felt incredibly weak. I was supposed to do 3x3x410, and pulled 410 for one and a failed second twice. So I did two triples at 385 instead, both of which felt quite heavy.

These felt pretty bleh. This is the same day I was feeling weak on deadlift, and my upper body lifts felt bad the next day too.

Gonna try to log more regularly going forward. I've been having an issue with youtube flagging me for copyright violations due to the stereo at the gym playing music in the background. I think I've seen other people have that issue too so maybe I need to figure out a way to record on mute.

The belt is pinching my belly in a very uncomfortable way. Not sure if I can stop that by wearing it differently, I have tried but it seems to happen no matter what.

how tight do you wear it? if you wear it too tight, i would recommend trying one hole looser. think of the belt as like a wall that you push your abs/obliques/core into and maintain that tightness through the lift. I usually put it on around belly button area for squats, and you can go a tad higher for deadlifts.

I typically wear it as tight as I can get it, I'll try loosening it and see if that helps, thanks. It's not even so much a pain thing, as much as the skin seems to get caught in there and then pop out on the ascent, and it's distracting and just vaguely weird feeling.
