Now that you mention that I got reminded of this Juggernaut video on
Foot Pressure & Knee Movement in the Squat and looking at it again I think it could potentially be a great way to fix this.
Basically allowing your knees to travel forward as long as possible coming out of the hole, to allow for maximum use of quads in the bottom of the squat.
They use both LBBS as HBBS examples in the video.
