Too much pre-meditation for it to be that. Plus he owned 2 aircraft and millions in real estate. Not buying the ISIS claim either.

The lack of a clear motive, the fact that he's very distant from the typical profile just by his age coupled with the huge number of casualties/injuries makes it way more terrifying than other mass shootings.

I know it sounds very tinfoil hat, but he was found dead in the room by police. What if he wasn't actually the shooter?

A lot of people that I usually consider reasonable rational are already floating this. Seems pretty premature to speculate on that.

They sure are using a lot of pretty dumb reasoning to come to the conclusion, too. Like, "they didn't find any evidence he used a credit card to pay for range time so how did he learn to do this?"

Well, I searched my own bank history and I don't see anything that looks like a payment to a range, even though I pay a yearly fee to a local rifle range. I'm sure it's in there, to something like "ARC, LLC" or something

This story is very similar to one I know.

There is this advantage player that had a very good reputation, his name is John. Very nice guy. Smart, hard worker, and use to work surveillance in the east coast. He one day ran into the greatest advantage player of all time (we will call him GOAT). They struck a bond immediately and traveled the US and the world punishing casinos with all kinds of legal moves.

Well John got involved with a degen Cambodian gambler. In our field, we love Asian big players. They are very powerful and get away with just about anything. But just like my ex fiance, she had way too much gamble. Eventually her and John got into high stakes video poker machines, which in certain situations, can be very profitable. But at $125 a spin and outrageous variance, they are bankroll destroyers. My cousin has an Asian girlfriend that can play 2000 spins per hour!! It's facking sickening.

Anyways John spiraled out of control and started stealing from his teams. GOAT got suspicious and started filming some of the casino sessions. Confirmed thief. Over the years it is estimated he skimmed hundreds of thousands of dollars from GOAT's team. And it all went to fuel an out of control to machine addiction.

This vegas shooter had a filipina girlfriend who was a former high limit hostess in Reno. He spiraled out of control with her. Asian gambling addiction is sickening.

Yep. This seems the most likely now. Possibly earlyish onset dementia too.

Can you play that many spins an hour and still be +ev? Seems like at that point they have to be making mistakes.

If you can stomach graphic images of death, 4chan has some interesting speculation based on images of the hotel room post mortem. Why has everyone ruled out multiple shooters?

Casinos have cameras; I'm relatively certain law enforcement would be able to ascertain whether there were additionally shooters that somehow escaped from the shooting scene. I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to incognito mode some of the #REALVEGASHOOTINGSTORY youtube conspiracy videos about this being a false flag operation, or if I can just save my brain from the specifics of this brand of stupidity.

So anyways, 1000x$125 is 125K action per hour. So in one day a big player can put down a million in action in one day. Its crack. The casinos are currently giving offers out that basically give you free play or cash every other day. So for example foxwoods was giving away $300 a day, every other day for the whole month. Thats $4500, if you "just pick up."

I want to see the shooters playing records, I hope the casinos release. This guy thought he was a "pro." Her playing records also would be interesting.

It'd be the most costly false flag operation ever, but there still might be relevant details that are yet undiscovered or just not released for whatever reason.

I have a feeling once the GF gets talking we'll get the real story on this guy and it'll be super clear.

^ It seems objectively irrational to kill 59 people to push some political cause forward. No comparison needed. I mean if they wanted to put metal detectors in hotels or whatever the current theory is, I just have my doubts that any powers that be would kill a pretty large amount of people to push that forward.

I mean details missing and a story doesn't make sense=/= must be far reaching conspiracy. Vanilla incompetence or just important details that'll come along later are much more probable. Maybe he was on SSRIs for 30 years and came off, maybe went busto, etc.
