We've got a couple people around here sponsored by Honey Stinger. I have a bad experience with one during a race in 2016 and have steered clear sense. Could probably switch to them for my afternoon snack though and be just fine.

Electrolytes are a good call, along with GU gels. I already get them through Amazon now, just a matter of setting up the S&S timing.

Coffee has been added to the list. We burn through K cups like mad at the house, and then grind and french press on the sailboat.

James DaMore finally with a higher production quality interview/better interviewer who goes into more depth.

I really wanted to think his awkward speech cadence and delivery were from skype delays, but no he actually talks like that and it's insanely tilting. I'm far less tilted by the hundreds of people I've heard with horrible Chinglish.

Started hiking 14'ers last year, since I broke my dick lifting(jk my dicks great ty for concern) but Im lifting heavy infrequently and hiking mostly.

I miss the turbo metabolism from lifting but I expect if I hike everyday for a month minimum 3 hours my metabolism will rise a reasonable amount again?

basically hiked a good 12 hours every 2/3 weeks all summer but trying to close the season with minimum 3 hr hike/day

Its really time consuming but I recommend everyone come visit and climb some mountains, its super legit

Pound the hiking, keep the HR in Zone 2 and have fun while getting it done.

The only problem with cardio for caloric burn is the efficiency gains. As you get better at said task, you burn less to go the same speed. So you either have to go longer, or increase the intensity for the same results.

Jelly of that CO elevation for training. I'm not serious enough about my racing to burn vacation time for it, but you can def see a performance difference on the guys that do.

Right now the craze around here is Beet Juice. This **** is disgusting, but 3% is 3%. Might try it before a XC ski race this winter.

No city here. Just no mountains either.

Altitude chambers are a thing. Phelps used one before the 2012 games I think. The people that have them tend to sleep in them at night and then train at regular elevation. I'll stick to sleeping in my normal bed. Plus I'm not anywhere near that level.
