Disappointing bench 1RM day.

Short version is I still have a hurt tricep from goofing around last week and couldn’t make a good lift. I did push 265 up but my butt came up and I am not sure if the spotter touched the bar or not. Just didn’t have it today and felt scared to get injured rather than feeling strong.

Bench stays at 260

Total is 405 sq 260 bench 445 DL = 1110 total

*with DL 1RM day Saturday - will hopefully add more lbs.

Felt good today for DL 1RM.

Pulled 455 pretty well - got ambitious and tried 475, which I got off the ground but only halfway up my shins. Then 465 didn’t budge. Happy with the 455.

So I close out this cycle with:
405+260+455 = 1120

Cycle resets and it will be another 6 months or so until 1RM again. My goals for the next 6 months:

1) diet improvements and drop some weight. I am 220~225 and would like to get down to under 200.
2) cardio fitness
3) Complete the entire workout at the weight gym. Got in a real bad habit of just doing the feature lift and calling it a day.

Specifically want to improve bench the most.
