There are at least two other posters in this log who have squatted > 2 x bw without wraps, but neither is an attractive female.

Haven't checked Auras log in awhile, looks like it got really weird. She doesn't really give me any feels but that ass is confirmed

Yeah we should probably bring the official tilde conversation log over here. If she opens this log, she will see 5'10 154lbs, squats 185x5 on the first page and quickly shut her down. So we are safe. And now that Aura is fat he doesn't go to the "cutting" logs anymore.

But my gosh did I nail the aura/Snitch dilemma right on the head. I always wondered why these guys so scared to cut. And it's because their significant other's legs dwarf theirs!!!! That's awkward if a girl touches your legs and they feel like a baby chicken's.

Not here brothers. I got freaking tree trunks. Three of them. Relative to the 5'6" 115 pound Asian.

Channels intensity from another dimension.

I am on my phone Aura. Please post video here so I can have it handy. No spanky wanky, I promise.
You want a download link or a youtube link? I have an mp4 I can share if you want.

lol

Remember, I can always cut. I am fat right now, though. 5'9" and 200.

But I just squatted 310x3 today. With solid form and great depth.

After my year long cut, I still looked like ****. Now, when I cut I'll look... not horrible.

Confirmed not rustled.

Aura -
Youtube link on here is fine brother. Then I will remember the page. Thank you.
Should help. Going to need some music next. Any squat music reccomendations?
Obviously a nonsquatting individual such as myself enjoys Don Henley and Lionel Ritchie in the car. And the hardest I go is probably Alice N Chains.

I hadn't checked Aura's log in a while either. Just checked it now. I think I was purposely avoiding it so I could convince myself they were just friends and I had a chance, but now I have to admit to myself I am pretty much in the same boat as the old man, always grasping for the prize, but will never reach it.

Squats aren't about finding the optimal external motivating factor. They are about sitting down and standing the **** back up, like a man. With that said and using your recommendations, you might like this:

That sounds like 70s disco. I was leaning more to something poppity like imagine dragons. Or maybe some Tiesto.

True story. I went to Tiesto concert with superhot Argentinian girl a few years back and had to leave early because the music was too loud. Olds confirmed. I think she got tagteamed by two Mexicans after the show. Oh well, I moved on.

I saw that Weasel. I went creeper on you and when you left your cellphone behind for one of your deadlift attempts, I actually looked at your playlist. Lol.

My mind just gets blown everytime you guys lift big. I keep thinking its the shoes or the music. I got new squat shoes. Definitely not the shoes. Music and belt next.

I am a big fan of Trance type stuff where you slowly build up your intensity with the tension in the song, then when the dam finally breaks you explode into your lift.

A current example which is pretty good IMO is Summertime Sadness (Cedric Gervais Remix)

One of my all time favorites is Moonlight Shadow (DJ Mystik Remix)
-by about the 1:30 mark (give or take a few seconds depending on your cut) I am normally about as ready to lift as I am ever going to be.

-Never really cared for the heavy metal stuff. Like all mid 30 something year old white dudes I went through my Metallica and GnR phase in early teens, and have fond reminiscences everytime Unforgiven or Novermber Rain is played on the radio, but it didn't stick.

Gottam. That Tilde video gets me every time. The intensity, the persistence, the sheer determination to get the weight up. It's inspiring to see someone grind through a heavy rep and finally succeed.

Yea, and squats are also the best lift to watch that in IMO. By far.

Weasel, the intro of that song is awesome.

Two songs with GOAT intro/buildup for squatting.

http://youtu.be/5_hIojjA3A4
Listen to the intro closely, seriously how can you not squat like a madman at 0:53???? Oh the intensity

http://youtu.be/u0FioxbBI68
A bit more inspirational, a lot of preparing time. LISTEN to the intro. Close your eyes and focus. Ideally squat at either 1:24 or 1:48. I like unracking in between and use the 1:48 climax. I literally get some kind of intense mixed feeling of happiness and hatred at the same time. Really motivating.
