Tuco is building some mass and strength very nicely. Since he loves the strength gravy train I did not recommend high volume to him.
WTF? No love here?

LOWER I
HBBS 205x1 (ATG), 215x1 (ATG), 2x5 215 (to parallel), 185x10 (slightly below)
Leg Press 360x10 400x10
Unilateral Hammer strength leg extension 3 sets
Accesory work + calves
Donkey calf machine 3x12 200
Standing calf raise 2x12 100

Here is my warmup 205 squats ATG. Experimenting with this, thought I was going to buttwink more than I did. Considering doing my all my squats like this, but doubt it. Not worthy to have deepest squats in H&F now that downtown is retired. Busto only squats once a year so he doesn't count. If downtown starts training again, I will do all my squats like this. That blonde frolicking in the background wanted my squat rack. But told her no because she is a known 1/4 quarter. Still has legs twice as big as me. Beatch.

Post workout had a 24 ounce porterhouse. One sweet potato. An order of asparagus. and one small breads. No pudding, cleaning it up a bit. Weight is holding steady at 162. Maintenance is 2700 on this routine.

Wow. Amplify and CR are super hardcore. Not dicking around. Lots of juice, lots of juice. Don't know what to think. Seems extreme if professional sports are not involved.

It always seem like there is a race for fat loss (see YTF). A race for muscle gain (see the roid boys). A race for strength (see the GOMAD boys).

Glad I went off to 3rd world bumblefack Latin American country for a while. Slowed me down a bit. Soulman and I taking it easy. Slow gains are fine. I have gained 30 pounds on my deadlift in a year. 30 on my squat. 20 on my bench. And my cut lasted 10 months. My bulk is going to last years. 5 pounds of muscle a year. Yeah baby. I think the journey is half the fun.

Wide pull-ups 5x10 (sprinkled throughout workout)

Yeah loco should offer to film her for form checking purposes. Particularly to watch for knee cave.

LOWER II
Squatty deadlift 235x1, 255x1

Experimented with this. There was no difference except my body compensated by my hips rising. Was hoping I could keep my back tighter here, not the case.
Deadlift 275x1 295x1 (mixed grip) 300x1 (mixed grip)
225x10 (mixed grip)
Speed deadlift 3x3 195
ATG Zercher squat 2x8 165
Weighted hypers 2x15 +70

Sad I can't get them pretty like Aidan. I tried lower hips, and nope. I think they pass though. This is 295. Pretty close to my estimated max of 315. Let me know if you guys think I should proceed or reset form. I have reset form three times in the last year. Hired someone to look at them. I have read Robertsons article. I have seen everyone's deadlift videos here. I have given it my best shot. I am 35 boys, I got no insurance. Just give me a pass or fail. If I get enough fails, I will reset and try again. I don't give up. I personally think they look way better than some people at Iron Addicts. Some of those deads over there look like ****. Not sure what they are smoking. If I didn't care so much about making them better, I would be at 350+ already. Give me the thumbs up boys and I will get them to 375 by the end of the year. Otherwise I think I am stuck in the 200s for the rest of my life. My whole back feels absolutely fantastic before, during, and after.

Damn I need some new gym gear. Have worn those pants like 15 times the last month. So convenient though because they can go to the casino or the gym. Shiieet have even taken them to the steakhouse.

I'd try and get that lower back a bit flatter, but then again I've had ~2 pretty serious lower back injuries already. LOL at the pants post.

I have filmed in shorts. When I was in hot ass panama. But here, I had to run to a poker game afterwards all stinky and then go to dinner. Sometimes I have to leave a game and go directly to the gym. It's brutal but anything for the love of the Iron Game. I guess I could carry a gym bag with food and clothes in it. But would probably lose it. These pants are just sick. I can run in them. Lift in them. Go to restaurants. Play pokerz. They will hold two 10packs. Hold chips. Everything.

But anyways, stop dicking around boys. I need thumbs up or down on the deads, not dicey and iffey.

Have you tried sumo? Not sure how it compares when aesthetics are your main goal.

You do a small knee rebend/hitching motion as the bar gets above your knees, and I'd want the back to be a bit tighter, but not too bad considering how close it is to a 1rm.

Squeeze your chest up and dont look forward (ie dont crank your neck back) - you should be able to get tighter as a result.

You're getting iffy feedback b/c your DLs are iffy bro, .

I'd say reset it but I dno, it's tough when you're that close to max, things likely aren't going to look perfect. What concerns me most is your setup - your lower back never really gets set or is in a neutral position. So no thumb up from me. Although I may post DLs later today that may make me rethink my stance on this - I haven't looked at the video yet but I was failing singles b/c when I broke the weight off the floor my low back was like "uhhh, you sure you want me to be taking that weight? How about some more glutes and hams there buddy?" So I kept bailing.
