Sweet tigres kit.

Let the fact I share your disappointment with yourself fuel a PR in Boston this April.

Spoiler:
Runners who don’t qualify under the time limit might be able to participate through a charity. According to CharityTeams.org, some organizations make you agree to raise at least a few thousand dollars for their causes in order to run on their teams — “some [fundraising minimums] are $5,000 and others are $7,500 or more,” states the organization on its website.

Did your squat look awesome on the first try? Nope!
Did it ever look good?

Makes me wish loco had put this much heart into his squats.

100%

Not only would it get our boi into the marathon, it would inspire some of the more self-centered among us to contribute to his and a larger charitable cause

Congratz loco on your marathon finish, especially the fact that you managed to do a negative split!
Good to see some self awareness finally - a few better choices earlier on and you'd probably broken 3:10. Still great time considering it was only your second marathon, few weeks after your first.

As someone said, take some time to decide if you love running or not and don't waste time or money if you don't.

Re: buying into Boston. I think loco meant something like this but seems that option is gone.

Got my rejection letter from Boston. I missed it by close to two minutes, whatever. They just had so many applications.

Spoiler:

The story of my Berlin life

I gave it a good shot, happy with my effort. I did make a few inquiries about buying into Tokyo or Boston, but it looks like everything sold out. I qualified for Chicago, but not til 2019.

I have a lot of work stuff going on and I need to train the puppy. So I will be back whenever I find a new fitness related goal. I ran a 65 second 400m the other day for giggles so I have been leaning towards going back to mile training. Maybe try to run the New York Miracle Mile in sub5 minutes. Will see, fully recovered from the marathon but just chilling with lifting and easy runs.

Well I am at the airport, I just left the hospital. My brother has been in a vegetative state for 6 days now, after suffering a brain stem stroke.

My brother was dealt a bad hand. Uncontrollable high blood pressure, super genetic freakish line from my father. It took my aunt at 27. My grandma at 59 and my father at 61.

It obviuosly didn't help that he didn't exercise and he was overweight. But most important of all, he didn't take his medicine. It's very unfortunate, he was the best man I knew. Took care of everybody except himself. RIP bigbro.

I only post to remind you to take care of yourself and others close to you. My bro and I are both 41 this month. A wise man once said that real wealth is health, not gold and coins. This man weighed 120lbs and even in his 70s did a 21 day fast with no food. It took three bullets to the chest to finally put him to rest at age 78.

How will you go down? Swinging and fighting the only way.
