Re: Project ABP

today i treated myself to some jordans with ABPxLoco PT.2 money. now dont get me wrong, i like simplicity and i dress pretty minimal. but there is something about jordans. especially the 1's.

today i am a proud owner of the obsidians. coming in next week.

Spoiler:

if you see an Asian wearing these, it probably me. Krunic, come to me and say Hi. i also ride the Brown Line. it passes through the yuppie neighborhood, and i always grunt at that stop.

see you soon.

Re: Project ABP

I hate to break it to you dude, but there are maybe (maybe) 2 stops on the brown line that don't fit your definition of "yuppie" neighborhoods. The idea that you'd grunt at "that stop" as opposed to say, literally every stop between Francisco and Sedgwick, might mean you might be clueless about the world around you. Like yeesh, which brown line stop *doesn't* have a spin studio and a starbucks within a block?

Kimball is arguably the only non-yuppie brown line stop, using the N1 definition. I think you'd have to consider Kedzie a yuppie stop just because North Park University owns half the neighborhood.

I'll keep an eye out for an asain guy wearing overpriced sneakers.

On the local news they covered that the biggest Starbucks in the world just opened in Chicago.

They showed a glimpse, was hoping to see you.

Re: Project ABP

Wasn’t sure what a yuppie was. Looked it up and need to know if this is an accurate definition.

Yuppie: I’m going to drive my Ferrari to the seafood Resturant for a $500 lobster
Average person: Take your time with the lobster, I’ll be facking your wife.

Re: Project ABP

Maybe? If media is any guideline, there are plenty of rich, educated women who are dying to bang the gardener and give up their family and life of endless choice to have some sweaty dude **** them in the bushes.

Regarding N1 usage, I'm pretty sure that having a net worth >0 and working with your mind instead of your hands qualifies you for "yuppie".

i went last Sunday. Honestly nothing spectacular. we got 3 drinks, and 3 bakery items. total came out to $60. i used my discount and came down to $45ish. the audacity to charge your employees... the audacity not to get front of line VIP for your employees... i waited 50 min in line. then to get our coffee, we waited another 35 minutes.

tourists and yuppies are oo00o0oh and ahhing. they are ignorant. at the end of the day, it is coffee. Honestly Starbucks gets too FPS with all this nonsense BS that imo they have ruined coffee. what happened to the days where humans just drank a black latte or cappucino? now its just 200 pumps of syrup and all this other FPS bs that are getting pretty basic white girls fat. IM NOT EVEN KIDDING. ive been working at my new store for almost a year now. they drink the same sugary drinks every facking day and they don't look the same. at least 10-15lb gains in all of them. i remember an an article that says Starbucks coffee is cancerous. people don't care. they are already addicted to it and keep drinking it...

yuppies are ignorant. they feel privileged for some reason. little do they know that they are not better than everyone. most dress so bad that i cringe some times. i have plenty of yuppie stories. u will cringe at some of them, i swear.

Re: Project ABP

been busy.

my manager asked me if i can work 6 days a week lol. she said if it is too much, she will find coverage... it is silly really. my parents worked 12-14 hour days. americans these days have it too easy. that hard hat, lunch pail days are over in this country. its why everyone is lazy.

the other day 2 people called off. i was put on register. 2 OF THE OVENS WAS BEEPING, AND MY SUPERVISOR HAS THE AUDACITY TO JUST WALK BY IT AND NOT EVEN TAKE THE FACKING FOOD OUT with a line out the door.

i can go on. people are facking lazy and have no heart. my roommate was in my store the other day. i give him a free tea from time to time. he saw me bust my ass off on the bar with non stop customer. he later tell me that was the craziest thing he has seen. just 1 person on bar? he knows i don't like this job,but he said i should be proud of myself. love him.

sick of people lately. i deleted everyone off my IG. i only am following 16. denim and sneaker related.

see you soon.

ABP,

Maybe he doesn't want to deprive you of the dignity of your labor by eliminating your role through his own labor. Each time you make a drink, heat some food, or give 200 pumps into a future fattie you're able to take solace in that fact that you did that with your own hands.

Re: Project ABP

My jordans came in. Wow they are beautiful. Any of you collect sneakers or shoes?

At work now. They have BOGO today... it is crazy. and today i was scheduled for 'clean play'. Basically you stay 2 hours after the stores closes and clean everything. The audacity to treat your employees like this. BOGO on the same day... no awareness what so ever.

Whatever. I know what i signed up for.

See you soon.
