Sure, no one thought that Mahomes would be this good. But you didn't need to predict that to draft him over Trubes. You just had to think that he would turn out better than Trubes. And Mahomes was drafted #10 overall, so it's not results oriented to say that his evaluation was extremely high.

Could the Bears have predicted that Mahomes would be better than Trubes? I think that based on watching their college tape and comparing stats, they could and should have. Just looking at their college stats, it's not even close. Mahomes had an much, much more impressive resume.

There was very strong reason to think Mahomes would turn out better than Trubes. Maybe Mahomes being GOAT level wasn't predictable, but better-than-Trubes definitely was. That's not results oriented at all.

training going well. my lifts going up but still no where near as i was before the lockdown. maybe not eating right. too busy to even eat. all i have is a 500-550 calorie veggie wrap at work. now only drinking iced americanos with splenda and some sweet cream. then i have to hurry home and eat my high carb before the gym. usually 2 serving of oatmeal, around 54g carbs. not enough. then come home and eat a chicken breast with some rice. might not even be 2,000 cals/day. just going to finish the year on gslp, then move to mike t/monte.

at work yesterday, i thought i was being punked by one of your guys dads. this 50+ y/o yuppie wearing a ralph lauren fleece and silver framed glasses comes in and orders a coffee. while i am pouring the coffee, he interupts and tells me if there is another way for me to get his coffee to him without me touching his cup. i tell him 'sir, we wash our hands every 30 minutes, my hands are clean'. he gives me a cringy look and then tells me to use another cup? ok. now i am putting on the lid and he acts like a beta b1tch and tells me not to touch the lid. are you stupid, sir?? how the hell else would i put it on?
