Got it, all along you've been negging me in hopes I'll send you nudes to gain your approval.

The Church of loco

The only logs that are real are posted to the Church
If High Priest loco doesn't receive nudes for personal collection, you are a pot-belly
Only High Priest loco has the power and ability to determine fitness

What a scam. More core beliefs will be posted as they come up.

Interesting thought. What are the requirements for "greatest H&Fer" of all time?

I mean, he's never been the strongest or the most jacked, but he's a dad who's been logging non stop for 10 years straight and is generally helpful and knowledgeable. I get it.

FakeBusto was definitely up there too though. He scored high on all fronts, including strength and looks.

Re: Project ABP

We can argue about greatest all day, but I think Monte has an excellent case.

There is nothing that derails the h&f train faster than having kids. The bro had two of them at the same time and just kept plugging away. Very few training hiatuses over the years. It's seriously impressive consistency and with every program he runs, he seems to get results.

And he shouldn't log? Thats the stupidest thing I ever heard and exactly what a nonlogger would say. Health logging is not just about impressing your internet friends it's about compliance and fulfilling your dedication.

Look what has happened to the nonloggers. YTF is dead, he would be alive if he never quit. MLYLT is struggling even though she is logging but she is not gaining weight. She gained facking 70 pounds in a year without logging!!! And even legends of the fitness game such as myself, struggle. It's so facking hot, I haven't run in two weeks. If I was logging, I would have found time to hit a few treadmill sessions.

And while the forum is slow these days, you still have H&F legends such as montecore, kidcolin, Aidan roaming around here, willing to offer a helping hand with strength and fitness related questions.

Of course the marks, rickrolls, and jmakins will never understand. Potbelly doughboys who contribute nothing but negativity.

Amen

And yet not a single person who doesn't log has a decent physique. There have been a couple of guys who showed up who had decent physiques and of course I called them out for being fakers (and were mostly on drugs). A million reasons to log and that's why no log equals no existence here. Zero cred & respect. You get my drift bro?

Hero has tons of cred and respect in this health and fitness forum. He looked like the marks, ricks, and jbakons of 2p2. Huge potbelly doughboy. Transformed his physique 180, to a walking Greek statue before Corona weathered him away. Impressive as fack and to the 10th power when it's all logged and natty!!! I know I have said it many times before, but it's worth repeating every year. Kid is a legend around here and also an example that H&F can guide a potbelly to the promised land. And now he is on comeback trail, logging every step. Exciting times!

Who is next? I bow and suck your dick for any effort to change your h&f. I will do personal research for you and be supportive.

I use to criticize my boy Arjun because of his shiet genetics and lack of gains. Guy kept slamming his forehead against the wall but is killing it these days. Respect and his words are now heavy with meaning.

Log or gtfo.

I am momentarily out of commission because busy with work and the Corona killed off all races for the foreseeable future. But still grinding 3 to 4x a week and I will be back. I have to or I will die. It's that simple.
YUP.

IT'S FUNNY. THE BETA SIMPS IN HERE HAVEN'T EVEN TOUCHED A WEIGHT SET. THEN HAVE THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME WHY I EVEN LOG??? REALLY??? THE REAL QUESTION IS WHY YOU DONT HAVE A FCUKING LOG?? ALL TALK.

SOME IDIOT THAT DOESN'T EVEN LOG OR DO ANY FORM OF EXERCISE COMMENT ON HOW MY BIKE RIDES ARE WARM UP MILES. I DONT EVEN REMEMBER WHO SAID THAT BC YOU ARE WORTHLESS TO ME. DID I SAY I WANTED TO BE THE NEXT LEMOND??? NO, I FOUND A NEW PURPOSE DURING THIS CHINESE BAT VIRUS. THIS GUY PROBABLY HAVEN'T EVEN STEPPED OUT OF HIS BASEMENT FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG.

ITS JUST FCUKING CLUELESSNESS AND YUPPIE MINDSET. IM NOT KIDDING, THIS IS PURE YUPPIE THOUGHT PROCESS. IM NOT GOING TO EVEN EXPLAIN WHAT IT IS. IT JUST TILTS THE SHIET OUT OF ME.

ALSO JUST REMEMBER THE FACT GIVEN ALL THIS NONSENSE CHINESE BAT VIRUS, I WAS AT MY PEAK BEFORE THE GYMS SHUT DOWN. 4 MONTHS LOST THERE. MY SHOULDER INJURY 2 YEARS AGO STOLE 2.5-3 MONTHS FROM ME. THATS 6.5-7 MONTHS OF NO TRAINING THE PAST 2 FCUKING YEARS AND HAVING TO START ALL OVER!!

THE ONLY THING THIS BAT VIRUS TAUGHT ME IS HOW MUCH PURPOSE I HAD.

You could say the same thing about the montecore, after he took up rowing. That's the big rock, keep the h&f game going. But of course very disappointing to see montecore lose his bench gains.

By the way, if you don't log you are 99% chance a potbelly. Awaiting noodz to take anyone off the list and at least bump cred up a tad and get off my potbelly shietlist. I define a potbelly as excess fat in the belly region. Obviously powerlifting savants like Aidan and beechnuts have fat, but it's not a potbelly.

Potbelly very unhealthy and it makes even a skinny a fatty, from a health perspective.
I REMEMBER I WENT ON EASY 3. MY FIRST MILE WAS 7:05. I WAS SHOCKED. BEGINNING OF ALL THIS BAT VIRUS, I WAS SOMEWHERE AROUND 9:30-10. I WAS PROBABLY GOING 60-70%. 6:15 MIN MILE IS ACHIEVABLE, BUT NOW MY REAL PURPOSE IS BACK IN THE GYM. JUST REMEMBER THE FACT I BIKED ON THE SAME DAYS WITH MY ROOMIE. WE WOULD CIRCLE DOWNTOWN. USUALLY 25-30 MILES. THEN ON WEEKENDS, WE WOULD DO 40-50 MILES ON TOP OF MY CARDIO. THIS IS WHAT I MEAN BY PURPOSE. GETTING SHIET DONE. SOMETHING THE SIMPS IN HERE NEED. YOU HAVE NO PURPOSE AND YOUR WORK ETHIC IS ATROCIOUS. SAD REALLY.

TOMORROW OFF DAY. GOING TO SLEEP SO I CAN GO IN EARLY TO GYM SO I DONT HAVE TO DEAL WITH NONSENSE YUPPIE MORONS AND CORONA.

Re: Project ABP

I find it funny you both assume i am fat and don't work out and will drone on and on because I asked a pretty basic question of why it's helpful to log.

And neither of you guys have answered the question.

This could have been super simple:

RR: What are the benefits of logging?
N1/Loco: Logging is helpful because of x, y, & z reasons.
RR: Thank you, I hadn't looked at it that way.

That's how normal people interact fyi, it's just hilarious how asking a very simple question triggers the hell out of you two.

rickroll is popping up in every forum/thread I post and lurk in and posts terribly everywhere. Please stop doing it here, the one thread that makes me smile. Not liking you. Ban this idiot if he keeps posting here.

loco, thank you for the compliments. You've posted about me hitting my head against the wall in the past and I've just ignored you, but I'd like to defend myself now. All you saw on my log were really slow strength gains and slow cardio gains, but I was actually improving at a decent rate in crossfit. If I only cared about strength or cardio, yeah I could have gotten better a lot quicker. The other stuff is what I'm most proud about (big sets of handstand pushups, ring muscle ups, pull ups, while still being able to run a sub 23 5k and squat more than 130). It's not going to shatter any records, and some of those standards will be really mediocre to some, but doing them all together has made me an above average crossfitter. I will take that, since I was pretty terrible at it when I first started fitnessing.

arjun, you're a very bitter dude, you should work on that, maybe you should view our thread similiarities as evidence we could have a lot in common and be best buds

or maybe you should read this perchance https://www.theodysseyonline.com/ins...people-similar https://medium.com/@briaeliza/what-y...r-74c50af3f10c

btw, you should also work on reading comprehension, that doesn't mention any benefit, he mentions what logging is, which is fairly apparent to all - i understand logging, i asked what benefit there was to posting it on a poker forum as opposed to an excel sheet that can be easily referenced and analyzed for future optimization?

but yeah, the guy who asks an innocous question and gets walls of texts laden with insults is the one with the issues here bro

Re: Project ABP

Maybe you need it spelled out for you rickroll, but compliance is a huge thing, and posting on an internet forum as opposed to your excel spreadsheet would help with that. You join a community, make friends, and you don't want to stop logging and make a post a year later where you're squatting just the bar and can't run a mile.

Here's another benefit of logging for you -

Re: Project ABP

Find myself agreeing with loco, though he's being a bit of a dick.

Seeing the benefits of logging is really obvious when you envision what would have happened to hero as he went down his H+F journey back in 2015 or 16 (forgot when, anyone know?) with his first log.

1. It's basically "open source collective coaching" but for free. There's a lot of super knowledgeable guys on here, despite it being fundamentally a poker forum. Whether it's bodybuilding, powerlifting, highland games, endurance sports, or just getting started in those first 2-3 years, there's somebody who can help you out and get you there MUCH faster than you would alone or with an expensive globogym personal trainer. And part of good coaching is developing athletes who will eventually be independent of you and able to make their own calls. I'd say that's happened to an overwhelming majority of successfully loggers, who have then gone on to stop logging, unfortunately. Antihero (upgraded from villain) is not there yet, but he may one day get there.

Sometimes you'll even get complete morons giving surprisingly good advice (countryroads a great example of this).

2. Compliance is a big thing too. While it's not so much about showing off, and sometimes it is, it's more about "**** I need to get this done so I don't look like a lame POS tool who can't follow through with things to guys on the internet who are following through with things".

3. Heavy lifting is an interesting and unique experience and having a written record of it is cool just to remember it. Like photos of family gatherings/weddings/funerals, but maybe less significant. I sometimes look back to old sessions and it reminds me of what life was like back then, what I was thinking about, what I was feeling, and what that training session meant to me at the time. It's interesting to reflect on and gives perspective. Though I don't know if a lot of other peoples take this emo-feels perspective toward their lifting sessions, maybe I'm just a weird dude.

Re: Project ABP

I only agree with loco in that; this is a community and a lot of the members have paid their dues and ABP has paid his dues, and is part of the community. I know I have a similar community mentality in BFI when weirdos come in to bring up Nazis or whatever.

I think its a bit different here as ABP sought out advice for a very long time and has only recently adopted the loco persona, but I do get some of it.

i forgot too add 10lb to squats. whatever.

i also added in some beta accessories after: incline DB curl and tricep rope.

feeling better. less sore. moving well.

lately i have been eating steak regularly. just ate my third steak meal of the week. who was that guy in here making nonsense simp 2 bite meals?? cashew?? all FPS on some nonsense that don't even make you full, but yet $1500 calories. i used to be like this with the EV lifestyle. used to be a macro NIT. then i realized you dont need none of this. don't need to be perfect. estimating is fine. as long as you not being a fat fcuk.

learned this from Loco. every time we make a stop during ABPxLoco, i see him getting 0 calorie energy drink. also protein bars. i am starving and asking myself how you can get a nasty protein bars and chemical tasting energy drinks. its why he is pretty much lean all year around. me, id grab candy and other 200 calorie drinks. he makes great choices. at golden corral, his plate is loaded with protein and veggie.

that is why today, i ate egg bites instead of my usual 600 calorie breakfast wrap at starbucks. its almost a 400 calorie difference. equal protien, but i am saving 400 calories for later. also gave up on donk drinks. drinking americanos now, with some sweet cream. less than 50 calories.

see you soon, just sold my supreme varsity jacket.

No. Macro nits count macros. I only count calories now with focus on protein.

I remember 2 years ago. Got strong and big but maybe had 50g protein a day. Loco called it fake gains. He was right. The gains went away when I dieted down. I only ate carbs that time.

I don't know that counting calories and protein is really that different from counting all macros, but I'm sure you will do fine either way.

Based on your log, it's clear that you're pretty disciplined at the eating part of the game.

Ya macro nits are so scared of fats and carbs. I found this new YouTube bb. Greg Doucette. Love him bashing on all these fitness influencers and calling out fake natties. He also bashed macro counting nits and proves why it doesn’t matter as long as you eat calories and protein.
