I was looking up that program, but the have some questions for you.
What is "load drop" and can you explain fatigue percentages?

MLYLT, how are you? Looks like you back in your feminine. We can talk now.

its when you drop 5-6% after your top set. Monte had me drop 5%. Mike T. drops 6%. That 1% difference, IDK why. He just might be a nit picker.

they do this nonsense load drop so you can add more reps after your top set, so you don't fatigue yourself too much. its why most working sets are @9. its kind of beta mentality and FPS tbh. the first 2 weeks on Mike T program is brutal. But really wasn't for me. i remember i did a total of 80 reps for squats in 1 session. i was gased but really was a @7-8 for me in terms of difficulty.

ha! i went to the vet. some nonsense curb side pick up. who knows what they looked at in there, but i didn't even get a facking comment on his chest. he had other problems like his paws too. they gave him antibiotics.

i sometimes question these idiots at the vet. they don't do their jobs well. i went to a different vet today. they asked why i left my old vet. i said they dont give me answers and just put my dog on medication, but it comes back a couple months later. its nonsense. they never explain. sad really.

my dog sound asleep. they gave him 3 year rabies vaccine. must be tired. he knocked out now. need to give him meds for 2 weeks, then back to the vet for more non-sense no answers, but more $$charges. its absurb.

just got back from the gym. lock down started mid March. so almost 16 weeks out.

today might be the most depressing day in my lifting career. not even after my shoulder injury i felt this pathetic. just looking at numbers, its going to take 8-10 months to get my gains back. also the risk of another lockdown is possible. all these entitled morons just running around the city with no mask making it harder for everyone else... its a damn shame. these people are the fcuking problem. i have no pity for you, i honestly hope you get CORONA.

i knew i should have slowed down the jogging. BUT I NEEDED A PURPOSE. my last run was EASY 3. i got news the gym opens friday(yesterday), so i didn't do my EASY 4, and now semi-retired as a runner. i dont want to lose my running gains so still going to run a bit. I WAS RUNNING 6x/week on Loco program. it went like this: sprint 8x200, EASY 3, EASY 4, REST DAY, then repeat.

i lose 15-18lbs. now around 160lb. tiny. today i see familiar faces in gym. all tiny and beta. its was a sad depressing sight.

today:

BENCH:

135x7 @9
135x5 @9
135x4 @9.5

SQUAT:

135x10, 10, 10
185x3 @8.5
225x1 @9.5

then did some beta ass isolation and went home. one of the most depressing time in my lifting career. i will not forget it.

i do not know even where to start. i just might do this nonsense til my muscle memory comes back then start Mike T. could be a month of GREYSKULL.

tomorrow work and rest. monday DL and OHP.

That's unfortunate, but I think you'll get it back faster than you think.

You can probably preserve upper body gains at home with minimal equipment. At least that what locobro thinks now. He's probably not wrong on that. I'm sure as his ABP he would gladly provide you with a program you could do at home with a weighted vest and a pull up bar. You can also check out his log. I think he posted what he was doing when he had this revelation.

Yeah I am serious, my pecs got too big during quarantine. They were getting Schwarzenegger like. But I toned it down now that I am back in the gym.

Weighted pushups or Archer pushups
Feet elevated on stairs pushups


You will get too big. Serious. And then for back, weighted pullups/Archer pullups/heavy 1-arm band rows. Huuuge upperbody. I still bench 2+ wheels. Medical doctor buddy said same thing, too much pecs from hard pushups variations. WTF?!!! Would have never guessed it, bench press a scam.

I then put the vest on for weighted ab wheel. Sick. Core of steel.

I am glad to be back in the gym but only for my front squats and deadlift variations.

I’m gonna have to see some videos of these alleged @9.5 sets. I suspect your quarantine anti-gains may have less to do with loss of muscle tissue and more to do with losing your heart

I WAS OUT 2.5 MONTHS WHEN I HURT MY SHOULDER. I RETURNED AND REMEMBER HAD TO START @ 85LBS FOR OHP AND LIKE 125LBS FOR BENCH.

NOW I WAS OUT 4 MONTHS FROM LOCKDOWN. IT MAKES SENSE I CAN'T BARELY BENCH A PLATE NOW.

THIS GUY WHO WORKS AT THE GYM HAD THE MOST YOKED UP BACK AND TRAPS IVE EVER SEEN ON A NATTY. YOU KNOW THOSE GUYS YOU SEE AND THE FIRST THING YOU SEE ON THEM IS THEIR TRAPS AND BACK? i am too sore for tomorrow. i can barely walk or take a shiet. it took me 30 minutes today to get to work on my bike. usually takes 15. i can barely move arms and my whole body is aching.

i knew this would happen. going to be like this for 2-3 weeks. this is why im doing beta lifts as we speak. non stop soreness. thats the thing with lifting. you take even a week off and you lose gains and get sore AF. its just not fair for us natties/ectomorph. we have to put in 110% than the rest of the people. some people are just lucky i guess.

i try to go in tuesday. hopefully this soreness goes away. i am curious if i can even pull 275# DL. id be lucky to press 135#.

I think you must have missed the point. I agree that it makes sense that your bench is so low now. No argument there.

What I was saying is that you could have avoided some upper body losses by doing the stuff loco recommended at home.

If we get to lockdown again, do that. You listen to loco for everything else. Take his advice on this too.

ya i should have done something. but i was so focus on running. i did not miss a day. i have my Strava all recorded.

i would get my running in and do 50 mile biking. an average day for me now is like 25-30 miles. i burn so much muscle, that i could feel it burning off when i was running. but like i said, once i have a purpose i go at it. this all happened bc the facking gym closed and i needed to find another purpose.

I really think the gyms are going to close again in a lot of the country. If I were you I'd get the vest and pullup bar now. Even if we don't lock down it's good stuff to have around.

If we lockdown again, just add it to your purpose.

legs still sore af. my supervisor today ask me why i was limping. thats how bad it was. i could barely walk down my stairs. i live 3rd floor. 46 steps to be exact. all this soreness from 135x10x3. its absurd. probably need to wait til thursday or friday to go back to gym. thats a facking week of soreness and DOMS. absurd.

i decided to do GREYSKULL for a month or so, until i get some movement and strength back. no need to get FPS with MIKE T yet.
