Played with a kettlebell, tore a callus. Got blood on the kettlebell, but naturally finished my set. I did 100 swings with a 24k in about 7 minutes. I was aiming for 5 minutes.

I went diving in Scillies for a week. It was awesome. The seas were flat, the sun was shining , and we got a a number of dive sites that are normally inaccessible due to weather.

On the final dive, a seal grabbed one fin and spent a couple of minutes trying to eat the other fin. It then found my bubbles, and played in them for about a minute.

I'm depth limited, but it didn't make much difference. Most wrecks drove into rocks, so if the wreck is too deep, you can dive the rock.

Today, I did some light lifting (55kg bench; 120 kg deadlift). Yesterday, I did 100 kettlebell swings with a 24kg.

Experience has taught me that cardio immediately after lifting is a poor idea

A couple of hours after my squats yesterday, I did a 10 mile walk. My legs complained throughout the walk.

Today, I deadlifted 140 kg for 1 set of 5.

I visited my parents for a few days. I did one set of kettlebell swings whilst there, and made quite a big tear of a callus.

I then went diving in Dorset. Our boat broke down, and we were blown out on the Sunday. But I got a couple of decent dives in.

I have lifted a few times since the last entry, but my logging is nearly as weak as me.

Anyway, yesterday I deadlifted 150 for 1 set of 4, and benched 60 for 1set if 5.

I'm really not very good at logging.

I've lifted a bit, but not as much as I would like. I had a week of walking up hills in Yorkshire, which was superb. I also do yoga once a week now.

18 November 2018
Swam 1k.

17 November
Benched 60 kgs, 3 sets of 5
Deadlifted 120kgs, 2 sets and f 5.

Again, my exercising had surpassed my logging.

I got my bench joint WR yesterday. 70 kgs for 3sets of 5. (I am weak.) I may go for a DL WR tomorrow.

I lost concentration on the final set, and dropped the bar immediately after unracking. I use a squat rack with safety bars to protect against this type of stupidity, do it was fine. I pushed up from the safety bars and finished the set.

Everyone should watch the Ronnie Coleman documentary. He is about the nicest guy on the planet - hopefully the surgeryeill work. Yeeeahhh budddy.

Today, I did underwater hockey. It is awesome. I scored three times, would have been 4 but for a foul on one attempt.

Again, my exercising is more frequent than my logiing.
Today, I did 100 kettlebell swings with a 24k.
Yesterday, I swam 1k.
The day before, I matched my bench WR (70k, 5x3). I deadlifted 150k for 1 set of 5, and 140k for a shedload of sets.

I have exercised a lot, and logged little.

A went "dry" caving for the first time in Wales. If you ignore the one moment of pure terror, it was really good fun.

Today's deadlift was notable: I did 160 kgs (2* bodyweight) for a triple .

As I mentioned in another thread, I bought a C2 rower recently. I am following this plan:
https://thepeteplan.wordpress.com/beginner-training/

Today, I did the first 6500m from Week 4. 32 minutes, which is slow, but my form felt better than before. (I have lowered my stroke rate, and git a slightly higher pace.)

I am dieting. I have been for 6 weeks. Current weight 177 pounds, down from around 190. Calories in minus calories out seems to work for me

Yesterday, I squatted and military pressed. I am weak.
