Hi, I'm to fat at 57 230lbs. I plan on eating only vegan chili, fruit and ice pops till I'm down to 155. Starting March 31st.
Chili will just be a variation of onion, garlic, beans, marinara as main ingredients with spinach broccoli mushrooms and peppers as mix INS. Also vegan protein shakes once I have the cash. Going to finish food in house before I start this diet about a week or 2 away so will start on 1st. I may only eat these four foods the rest of my life and supplement with vitamins and stuff that I need that it doesn't have. So the vegan chili, the fruit, protein shakes and ice pops. F it that's IS all I'm eating the rest of my life. Next year I may take steroids to get up to 170lbs from 155 hopefully 12.5 lbs muscle and 2.5 lbs fat. I'm going to doctor for wegovy and Adderall so that should help also black coffee and tea as drinks or 100 percent juices.

Will update with weekly calories but I want to try and stick to the same portion and set times to eat everyday.

eating the same 4 foods for the rest of your life sounds both miserable and impossible.

why not find something more practical and balanced and break the goal down into easier, bite sized chunks?

It's more easy and practical to eat the same foods.. I don't care about food I want to put my joy from other things but I love vegetarian chili and am devoting my life to staying thin and vegan I hate fat people

I think one multivitamin pill a day is nice, gives flexibility. Should contain some calcium too. Vegetables are good, as their calorie density often is small. Try to vary eating though, you will get fed up otherwise. Some exercise when losing weight is good. Just cut down those calories long term. Good luck!

Going from 230 to 155 means you are obese. I would just cut some calories out to get to a more reasonable weight, maybe 190, and then look for a more extreme diet.

There's no way you are going to be able to sustain this for that long. The fact that you allowed yourself to get to 230 means you probably don't have the discipline either. Or it is possible this 155 is not an appropriate weight goal.

Do you know how many people who were once extremely disciplined got over weight? That is sound advice though, I may get to 190 and do that. I used to be strong and played football for a little bit in college I benched over 400 but was around 240lbs. At 190lbs I was benching 350 around. I think my ideal weight would be 175lbs and just working out and trying to have a muscular build not really hitting any marks weight wise so that's my goal 175lbs or maybe 170lbs and a 6 pack.

Also, how is vegetables, beans and rice and protein vegan powder unhealthy.

Thabkyou played for solid advice. Chicken is like 4.99lb at the store by me if it was more normal priced at 2.99 to 3.99 I probably wouldn't of thought of this. I want to consume about 150grms protein a day and keep my budget low. Milk and eggs are on the higher end of prices to at the store but I'm thinking how I can achieve this on $375/month with protein powder included.

If I drink 2 protein shakes a day at $2.60/day that's 92grms protein and $80/month. Than 1 lb of chicken breast is $4x30 $120/month actually its pretty good so far. I thought the chicken was $5 but the store brand is $4 if you buy over 4lbs at a time. So that's $200 so far and leaves $175/month for vegetables, brown rice, condomints, diet iced tea powder and low fat desserts... now for calories I hope to stay under 2,250 so going to avg that out now..

Ok so here are the cals...
Pro powder 92grmspro -600cals
Chicken breast 1lb 500cals broiled
Bbq sauce 100 cals
Rice 500 cals
Broccoli 200 cals
Than 4 tbspns olive oil for healthy fats is 300 cals

Than I'd say twice a week I'll have about 300cals dessert and once a week a cheat meal so around 600 cals extra. As long as I hit my protein goal. So, this is 2 days a week 2600 cals, one day 2900 cals and 2300 cals 4 days a week.

I want to workout and run build up my stamina. So I'm going to experiment with workouts but 5 days a week of workouts and 5 days a week of running.

I'm going to probably supplement with a very little testosterone. The norm is like 600 levels so I want to get mine to around 1000. A pro bodybuilders is around 5000. I also am going to docs tomorrow for weight loss med phentermine.

Human bodies are complex and its very difficult to fulfil all micronutrient needs while in a caloric deficit eating such a limited variety of foods. Vegan protein powder, and protein powder in general, have poor availability and it is not remotely the same as eating a steak.

Can you eat fish/shrimp?

230lbs to 155lbs in a year is doable but inadvisable and probably not going to look very good. Generally focusing on the scale number is a bad strategy while focusing on visuals, body compositions, and habits that are indefinitely sustainable is a much better strategy for a happy healthy life where you feel good with your body. Start lifting weights at least 3x/wk, get 10k steps per day, do some sort of cardio that you find enjoyable or at least not boring regularly, and set up a diet that has optimal macros for building muscle while having a high level of satiety that makes a caloric deficit easy to comply with. Don't worry about getting to X weight by Y date.

If you are not that committed to this veganism thing and can at least have seafood/eggs/dairy, I will be happy to take you on as a client. Send me a pm.

Just to clarify... are you 57 years old like me? or 5'7" tall?
If Old, I would definitely skip lifting heavy and look at a lot of videos on how to loose wt and keep muscle for +50.
I used to lift heavier(155 ha!) but now I only lift under 100lbs. I only need to do lots of low impact (walking mostly) and
be able to pick up a 40lb (future grand child.)
If you are 5'7" and benched +400 at one point in your life, you must have looked like a mini hulk.

I am at 175 or so now and trying to get down to 155 as well.
Good luck on your goal. I will be watching as I hope to get some motivation from reading your posts.

I do hate solicitation. But you need someone to spoon feed you knowledge like a child, since you're actually worse off than a child. You think you know things, but are utterly clueless.

Didn't start I thought I was going to get wegovy and be on my testosterone therapy sooner. Just now getting the test. Therapy and seeing about the wegovy. Unsure what this person above is saying I know alot about health and what I'm interested in and I would mock you but I don't want to because you are a schmuck. I'm 5'7 not 57 I'm 39 y.o. think I said that. Good day
