Prob not. It appears my theory was incorrect. He just got stabbed by a couple guys in broad daylight with dozens of eye witnesses in a part of town that is 100% CCTV. (Outside an embassy no less.)

Luckily I'm not Russian or deal drugs, so I think I'm safe.
