yeah, sounds about right - nice car imo.

I didn't care for some of the "cool features" like turn signally, it seemed weird imo.
The guy was saying since BMW's are balanced 50/50 from front to rear it makes it a much better car than everything else - is this at all true, just bogus, good in some ways but not in others?
The 50/50 balance will matter more to someone who's really into driving. If you read a lot of Car and Driver, Road and Track, Motor Trend, etc... articles and have driven a lot of cars hard, this might matter more to you. Beamers are considered by many people to be the standard to which other cars are measured. But they cost a lot, especially when you start adding options in.

Sounds like a safe choice, but will be less interesting to drive than the others.

That surprises me. Try driving one the way you drove the Beamer & the Infiniti imo.

I'm a little surprised that you liked this one best, but if you end up liking it best, go for it.

Why not see how you like these others?

Price-wise, Infiniti has 3500 cash off by end of year, BMW 1,000, Acura nothing, Legacy the guy said he could go down to invoice price, Volvo has a very nice upgraded warranty package including "wear and tear"...
So I feel no matter what I choose I should do it soon.
More tips or advice? Will it be worth it to test drive the Lexus or Audi?

That particular test leaves out several of your potential choices, but you can search for reviews of all of the cars you're considering there. They do great work.
also, do the CR comparison of the cars you've narrowed it down to. You can look at all the details like owner satisfaction, predicted reliability, shoulder room, exterior dimensions, safety, horse power, 0-60 times, gas mileage (both EPA ratings and CR test ratings), etc etc etc.... basically everything you ever would want to know.
