I didn't dislike Alinea, but I found it disappointing. There was just something really depressing about seeing all these top 0.001% people doing super creative stuff with perfect execution and seemingly having no fun at at all.

When Achatz came out to do one of those on-table desserts, he had this laser beam of a thousand suns intense look on his face that I can still remember a couple years on. I respect the dedication, but I guess that's not what food is about for me.

My town has a road where one side is in Ohio, other side is Indiana. I win (lose).

Also, 5 mins away from KY. I am surrounded by a whole lot of suck.

Lotta catching up to do itt -

- Almond is indeen supposed to be pronounced 'amend' like kinda sounds like salmon with a soft D at the end

- for some reason, I just don't get Tool. I don't think they're bad at all, but their songs just don't do anything for me. I don't dislike them, but I just don't get em.

- it looks like we're in the clear here from the worst storm in 100 years or something. Ish was super rowdy.

- best cure for a cold: airborne, orange juice, chicken, and sleep, ime

- im in the extremely fortunate position of having everything I could want or need, but my gf/family is wondering what I want for my birthday/christmas (5 days apart). I'm struggling to come up with anything, WUG H+F

- Indy doesn't seem like that bad of a place to live, but any town with an economy based on cars driving in a circle 500 times seems sup optimal.

- Oh and DT - bears suck.

How about an Applebee's gift certificate? It's totally down to earth there and all their desserts come in a bowl and with a banana.

Best part now is the amazing photos showing up in my facebook feed. Hot damn that was wild. Looked like straight out of a cat 3 hurricane in the south.

You have actually been to Applebees? Ouch. Sometimes jokes hit too close to home. Like yelling "Are you deaf?" at a deaf person.

Denny's though. That dumb town has a freeway exit with a Denny's on either side of the freeway. WTF is up with that anyways?

JF - writeup of last month? You gotta do a write-up every month, the people demand it!

Dt - I like you but the bears suck and I'm a lions fan so I'm invincible to any comeback.

I assume you saw that meme that was going around facebook. It was popular with my Lions fan friends. This one:

I would feel bad for you, but you sent us Rod Marinelli who is probably a deep cover agent sent to **** us. Despite the Bears D early success, I always feel like in the end how good can it be to have 0-16 Rod in charge of anything. e.g. yesterday.

How about a lifting program and some ADD meds to help you stick to it?

Speaking of Bears sucking, has the prevent defense ever preventing anything, other than the team doing it from winning the game? I was watching RedZone so I admit I was not getting a whole lot of Bears action cause it was such a low scoring game, but I did see the final drive of regulation and the Seahawks went straight through them pretty easily, so obviously whatever they were doing before was working a lot better.

Also, line was only -3, which is pretty damn low considering Seahawks are such a bad road team and the Bears record is good, so the books new it was gonna be exactly the kind of game it was.

I am not even 100% sure Bears are going to make the playoffs. Losing that game was pretty big cause now Seahawks (or 49ers) have the wildcard tie-breaker.
12-03-2012 , 04:27 PM
Edit:

Just checked, and all other wildcard teams competing for 6th spot are 6-6, and Bears have tiebreaker over Cowboys, so baring a MAJOR collapse seems they should be ok.

DT - no, I haven't seen that...thanks.

Yeah I'll do a write up, not sure when I'll have time but I'll do it.
