I see commercials every once in a while trying to convince guys my age they have "Low T".

Are they handing out prescriptions for steroids to treat that horrible disease called 'middle age" or are they pushing herbal bull****?

then they start squatting and they are going ~30% of depth, basically just slightly bending their knees and immediately going back up. they're doing like ~100 pounds, slightly more or something, not really warming up, etc.

what's my play here? i feel like if when i was this age someone would have said "you should buy starting strength, stop listening to your gym teachers and start googling stuff, but it's good you're trying to DL/squat" i would be eternally grateful for the headstart. however, i always feel pretty douchey about ever saying anything in the gym.
If you want to do this and come across better, start with the bolded part and emphasize that before giving any advice imo. Then drop a couple tips on them (squat like this, SS, etc.) - if they dont show interest, dont waste time saying much else.

I think its interesting/cool to help people who want it, but most people will not be interested in hearing what you say, no matter how right you are and how wrong they are.

That gel stuff they're pushing now has real steroids in it I think. I have no idea if its safe or effective - some others here probably know that kind of stuff.

steel is the man and i think it's pretty telling that everyone's reaction is "lol juice" rather than "jesus that's sick." Steele keeps a pretty detailed log on strengthvillain. Dude put in a lot of work and had the diet dialed in. He also has a couple decades under the bar and was already pretty jacked.

I wouldn't be shocked if he "supped" a lot less than what some of you suspect, and regardless I don't think it really matters that much. The process is the neat part imo.

I almost never say anything, but maybe since it's Christmas. I would have loved someone showing me how to lift when I was a kid...

Subaru Legacy
Subaru Impreza
Chrysler 300 (although I've always looooved they way these look and I normally never notice cars)

I approve of this list. MB and BMW are sick but a lot more and certainly represent the upper end of the luxury segment.

Get a 2012 300s V6(don't get the C brah) **** is rad, see image I posted earlier. Longer wheelbase will make it more stable at speed, too.

probably BS but you do have "low t". you're 50 years old right? i'm trying to get my dad to see an endocrinologist, he's just a big ball of estrogen with low energy and probably the libido of a 90 year old woman.

i didn't read the whole article but bodybuilding, from my understanding, doesn't really come down to who has their diet or cardio dialed in, getting down to 6% bf doesn't even require cardio. it comes down to water manipulation. if you take two guys with the same amount of muscle, whoever manipulates their water better and appears more "dry" and has more cuts will win. they also don't mention that fat burners and diuretics are big part of that process but w/e.

wp.

Doesn't matter, errrrybody gonna juice.

I seem to remember something about someone who was on juice and didn't make exceptional results.

Telling of what?

Obv this transformation isn't really relevant for many people. Really strong PLer with an iron will decides to go BBing. Of course his results will be stellar, even without juicing.

Is there anything to learn from his process? I'd say no. Nothing we didn't already know. It's cool that he didn't follow the BBer play book and mostly did a **** ton of squats, barbell lifts and cardiotarding though.

Someone stole the collar and trimmed away the most delicious fat. I'd go back and kick his ass.

What's the difference between the base, the C, and the S? The website is a cluster imo and I can't really tell what the real difference between those is at all, lol.

Also, nice pull - def worth to post on internetz.

Same bloodwork that showed my thyroid was ****ed also showed my Testosterone within a normal range (miine was 455 IIRC, with anything over 250 normal). This was before I started lifting again, so I'm guessing my Testosterone might've gone up a bit since then.
