Turns out I have a ferritin level of 5. My doctor said that in order for my hair to stop falling out, it should be around 50. Woot?

Gizmo needs to pump more iron.

I broke down and had a few hamburgers a couple days in a row. So much for being a veggie.
Also iron pills are the WOAT.

new york strip steaks are 45% off at my local whole foods today only, might be other locations too.

No way she has the type of Yaris I'm driving. It's really really pathetic. If I didn't see the odometer said ~20k miles I would have assumed it was 15 years old but just looked ok.

There's so many things about it that tilt me that don't have to do with it's size or the fact it's in a category of car that's not at all fancy. I can do no frills, but it feels like a car they'd make ppl in prison have to drive.

Had a burger just now. Confirmed great. I made it "angry" for an extra $3. Definitely not a value option, but the spicy sauce, jalapenos and other stuff made it really hit its stride in my mouth.

Iron pills are useless. You should be heading to the local Korean BBQ daily, bro! Load up on liver, short-ribs, bulgogi. You'll be back to full power in no time. Also, shell-fish is good.

I think your body is telling you that is doesn't like vegetarianism.

You gotta get that digestible heme-iron.

I concur Yugo. I felt like a totally broke povo from some communist hellhole driving a yaris around.

Bix, that's just standard broke people buying old nicer things. The stigma is more about people who buy new audis. It's like they're trying to make buying a 50k car into something super cool and unique and they're totally different than those clowns buying beemers, mercs, and lexi.

First car was a hand me down 91 jetta. That thing was awesome.

Next was a 2002 Ford focus. Sick deal. Very solid car but nothing special. Would recommend.

2010 golf was my first real grown man who finally has a little cash purchase. I was actually looking for a used ride (that sensible frugality) but it was right around the time cash for clunkers was big. Used car market was aids. So I bought new for just a few more thou.

The only whole foods around is downtown manhattan, probably .001% chance they have any sales. Still gonna try tho.

I had a golf before my current car and I loved it. Not a ton of power or anything but still a lot fun to drive.

Use the store locator and call ahead, ask what the "one day deal" is.

http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/list

It is commonly meat, but I have seen it be really dumb stuff too.

KC - I loved my Ford Focus too *wipes tear from eye*. But, given I'm looking at super expensive cars (like Acura and Infinity) seems no way I can not like the new car better, lol. At this rate I will be driving a Bentley AWD b/c it's brakes are sliiiightly better on icy roads.

Cars are for going from A to B imo (safely).

If they do that, I give zero fukks about the rest.

I think the switchover happened years ago tbh. I'm biased though, I slurp on BMWs and Porsches worse than KC's coworkers on their boss. Running a business this summer, depending on how well it goes I'm planning on getting something between an E30 325i coupe (late 80s, like 2k for a good one) to an an E39 M5 (early 2000s, just over 10k for lower mileage good condition) to maybe an E46 M3 if I run like god (early 2000s, ~20k for lower mileage good condition). I would fully embrace being a young ******* in the M3.
