The yaris I rented was at pdx. We had people flying in for work all week. Somehow they legit ran out of cars by midweek.

And yeah lol pt cruisers. Whenever I see one on the road I'm like what went wrong in your life that that's the car you chose.

Worst rental car we ever had was a Taurus when I was a kid, prolly an '02 or somewhere in that range. The whine from the drivetrain was unreal, at 40mph it sounded like a Ferrari at 130
I drove my drunk friend home in his family's Taurus, roughly same year, 9X,XXX miles... it was a really nice car to drive. Suspension was still in good shape, everything worked fine, considerably smoother than my stepmom's nearly new VW Eos. So I guess the moral of the story is any car can be a piece of **** if not taken care of, but old Tauri are legit. Solid moral.

an HHR is like a PT Cruiser but uglier, smaller, and ****tier made. It also handles worse, feels like its going to fall apart at slower speeds and generally sucks more. I've rented both.

My friend rented a car and ended up with a PT Cruiser to drive around the Northeast while he was interviewing for PhD programs. This was around the time that the PT Cruiser came out (2000, 2001 or so?), so people (what people, I do not know) were excited about the car. He said other PT Cruisers would pull up by him and wave and honk and he would just be sad but have to laugh. Legit lulz.

I think it looks cool but I'm a sucker for retro cars. On that note

Baller status: elite? You can get an '11 in the low-mid 20s and it sure beats the **** out of a Camry.

I tell my wife to give PT Cruisers a wide berth because their drivers have proven that they make poor decisions.

Kinda got ditched by all my co-workers today. We were having an EOY get together at a bar. I'm finishing up some **** so I tell one of 'em I'll be there in a bit. I'm like 15-20 mins late but whatevs. I get to the bar, go inside, can't find anybody. I'm mildly rustled.

Get home and email someone and they say "sorry man that bar A was packed so we went to bar B. No one had your number." All anyone woulda had to have done was open up their laptop, check their email (offline) and see like 100 emails from me where I list my cell in the subject line cuz I'm out of the office that day.

Fair to be a bit perturbed by this?

Counterpoint: I coulda done the same thing I guess.

They obviously don't want to hang out with you. Also people are lazy/dumb. Rustling justified.

one of my roommates is the most laid back guy ever, but soon as he pops that fifa disc in he goes on some pretty epic life tilt. like screaming at 3 in the morning.

yeah sounds about a right. There's a bunch of red marks on my ceiling from throwing my controller straight up in the air.

i got the 2008 Si coupe, with some custom features. love it.

pretty much the only problem is the trunk opening is just small enough to make it uncomfortable to put in the old hockey/golf bag

No sports video game is more tilting than playing Andy Murray in Top Spin 4, I think he blew the developers or something. He was still choker Andy Murray when they programmed the game too, inexplicable how he can he can hit the most ridiculous angles and gets to everything. I think I'm like 1-100 against him, can beat everyone else

Meh. My character had more trouble with djok, but eventually the computer became a joke. There are some people online who rustle my jimmies. I got quite good at that game and ranked pretty high on ps3 network. I made a comeback recently and I still got the goods. I'm legit a top 5 server in the world.

The actual most tilting part of that game is how poorly designed the online play is. Makes you wait a minute in the lobby til the timer runs out then it picks a match for you. You can be first one in and still not get a game if there's an odd number of people. And half the time the game just freezes on "finding a suitable match." and if you reset from there, when you log back on it says you got disconnected and rewarded a loss.

Just so much tilt.

I also have the goat character name / avatar.

Well, the day before the only option was a large passenger van. Not like a family fan but a commercial van. So instead I made them drive me around all day for free.

But yeah, all they had was a Yaris. I meant to call them today to see if anything else had become available. Probably will try that tomorrow.

Well, it makes me feel like I was super spoiled with my Focus ZTS, which was a 16k car 10 years ago - we're not talking about a car level that's supposed to make any other car feel like a little broken bitch.

1) And it is fairly windy here but no snow/ice, but when the car gets gusted it feels like it felt Monday when I lost control out of nowhere of the car and then my life flashed before my eyes.

2) The speedometer is in the middle of the car, so if I'm going around 60mph I can't really tell how fast I'm going very easily without turning and staring at it.

3) Forget push to start, I have to manually lock the bitch.

4) No seek on the am/fm. There is a CD changer but I was pretty surprised it was there. The power button for the radio is about as far away from the driver as humanly possible to put it and not get customers taking a dump in front of your house every day.

5) Let's see....oh, it won't stop fogging up. Maybe I don't get the defrost settings but I have to blast the damn fan on 4/4 (no 6 step system here my browegian friends) and it *still* has been fogging up slowly.

6) And the seat doesn't go far enough back and steering wheel doing go far enough up. At the max height and seat back as far as it will go, my knees won't hit the wheel...barely. I'm 6 feet tall on a good day.

I can probably remember some more things but this is just off the top of my head after driving it for 2 days for maybe an hour total drive time.

However, I haven't died and it's still in one piece, so I mean, that's thrilling imo.

Probably too many slurping noises after that meeting where they all brown nosed the boss. No brown noser likes being shown up by an alpha, bro.

G37s = good bang for your buck. I test drove it a few times when I was car shopping a few years ago. Really liked it but wound up getting an Audi and spending $10-$15k more. Love my car but every time I see a G37 now I'm like fk I'm ******ed - could have gotten a really nice car for a lot less $$$.
