With our leap year bs stuff, they end of the Mayan calendar has already happened

DT - it sounds to me that your life is basically in shambles already and you probably should pre-emptively end it. Or just drink heavily and go squat a ton of weight.

No, this wrong. But it's a silly argument.

Confirmed running amuck.

yes it was close. The wider toe area + the two straps that go opposite directions was why Nike won. Comments from people who had both shoes included stuff like "you feel like you're wearing giant magnets" or something along those lines - they're very stable.

Both shoes sound like they're very well constructed.

I run only because I hate it. Its easy to be like "I enjoy squatting, I don't like running, therefore I'm gonna only squat", but thats for pussies...fight through whatever it is that you hate doing most imo.

How many times a day do you punch yourself in the balls?

I am trying to get there Assani. I have been slowly increasing speed and incline on my 5 min treadmill warmups to get myself broken in, but I'm skeptical.

My life is 100% great and I am the happiest person I know. True story. The bump on my arm is real though and I will die, just not from it and not soon afaik/imo/I hope.

Anyway, I only drank heavily on one occasion this year. I was with a bunch of Swedes (my Swedish friend got married imo) and apparently I "scared them" by yelling at them that they couldn't just put a baby in a stroller in a mini van cab, even if it was Swedish. Sober DT agrees with drunk DT in this regard. I also agree with drunk me that free rye tastes good.

We go from zombies to the Mayan apocalypse to talking about cardio? Just an all-around terrible thread today imo.

Such a boss.

In a pitiful attempt to mimic the gentle giant's life, I ordered a bunch of the more rare Nogne O ales and other stuff. A double imperial IPA, rye porter, imperial brown ale etc. Om nom nom nom. Also an Italian ale the local Browegian beer webpage raved about, skeptical house. Plus a bunch of wine of course. Good times will be had this Christmas.

I'm allergic to running:

My face gets red
I start sweating
Get short of breath

Very dangerous.

Gizmo had a nice link in there at one point. But the presentation of those minute long vids was a bit tedious - not her fault though.

So, if one has very bad DOMS in the legs a couple days after a leg workout, would the optimal strategy be to do stretching and rolling, and grit through the pain, or just to rest it another day till the soreness goes down and then proceed with the stretching/rolling?
