After much deliberation, the results are in. The 2017 Golden winner is



The Golden awards this year were reconciled to just one award. In years past, there were aesthetics (loco) and strength (Cha) versions. No more.

Since the rise of fakebusto, H&F bends toward S&A (strength and aesthetics). Cut, get stronger, lean mass is the new recipe for success. And TooCuriosso only cemented that strategy even more so.

It was a wild year, in the beginning it seemed like Rav was a lock to get it. Seems like he went too fancy though and he dissipated. Then Renton seemed a stronger contender to become a Golden due to his transformation and in turn keep both awards (the loco and the Cha) However, he ran straight into SALTSville.

The latter part of the year was completely dominated by the Montecore (under the tutelage of none other than fakebusto, the greatest Golden to ever live). Getting stronger and lean massing was again the recipe being used.

Then this happened as the year came to a close



Starting in April, the kid took 325/225/415 numbers and turned them into 405/245/495 numbers!!! Without getting fat!!! And all of that logged in this forum.

And it's not over, look at his outrageous 2018 Goals

Those are ridiculous numbers more suited to Superman, but the kid has goals and aspirations.

Wow damn guys, thank you! Thanks loco for the write up and the trophy is great. There were many worthy folks who made amazing progress, so I'm feeling honored to get the golden™. Among all the guys mentioned above, ibavly was another that made great gains. HF has been a great supportive place to log and post, it's been fun. Hopefully 2018 is a great year for all of our gainz.
