Don't come at me bro. I've eaten only once at McDonalds in the last 3 years and was forced by a friend under the threat of a glassing to order a caramel sundae.

Smashing a glass object (pint glass, bottle) and using the resultant sharp object to stab someone

It was a bad Aussie joke. I thought it was slightly funnier due to McDonalds not having appropriate glasses to do it. Maybe sharpen a straw into a shank or something?

It's like these sheltered snowflakes have never even been in a bar, let alone fought in one.

I realized the other day that I haven't had <big brand fast food> in months.

Possibly related... Mrs Snitch and I have been on a serious premium meat bender for months.

I think our only fast food forays have been into the local ma and pa pizza shop (which we really rate and gets a run at least once every 1-2 weeks), and I guess I've hit the local big brand burrito shop a few times (come at me loco).

Also possibly related... There was a period in the last few months when I didn't leave the house for at least two weeks (although not really because delivery ldo).

One of my mates who was a bar tender for a long time assures me he has seen someone bite a chunk out of a pint glass and use the resulting crescent shaped edge as an uppercut enhancing weapon.

Sounds like a bar tender urban legend to me... but he promises it happens.

Yeah, we should all know what "glassing" means. It's slang for a commonly occurring event. No need to use more words than necessary. At least the threat of it is commonplace.

I've actually heard the word used on here by non-Aussies so assumed it was commonly known.

Maybe it's like "I'll kill you". Glad I don't see more of that on 2+2.

Violent world.

Just to be clear I didn't actually get threatened with a glassing if I didn't order a caramel sundae Apologies to anyone who thought I may have a deranged enough friend to do this.

In the*United Kingdom, there are more than 87,000 glassing attacks per year,[1]resulting in over 5,000 injuries.

This stat left me more confused than before i searched the term. I usually have heard it referred as bottling, but i guess that doesnt cover getting hit with a pint glass.

Hard to believe anyone could not be a fan of medical quackery, being dumb enough to placebo yourself, muscle pliability, intentional cheating, and open mouth kissing one's preteen son, but it takes all kinds, I suppose.

I'm trying to translate my analytics from college fb. I'm sure it won't work great, but it might work OK. Or, K.

You're talking about Tom Brady, the quarterback for the Boston Patriots and Giselle's baby daddy? Frankly that nickname is not helping. Curious if people think they are a great team this year or just "unbeatable after a loss" which seemed to be a popular view. Figured it was a decent opportunity to zig when everyone else was zagging.

I also call him TV12 and yes, I surely thought they wouldn't lose twice in a row. No way it happens 3 times!
