I had to do exactly this in my home gym. All my plates are bumper plates, but would hit the ceiling on the lock out. So, I just used a ton of small plates. I never got above 60 KG, so it wasn't that big a deal. Now I don't even OHP any more, so it's a non issue.

In any case, congrats on the condo.

In reality, we both quite like training at our commercial gym, and it's basically a date when we get to go together (beat? brag?), so there are no immediate plans for a home gym, but having the option is nice.

Apparently EC is ranting about the dangers of the "dead hang". Sounds about as legit as protein harming your kidneys. But I don't even pullup so it seems super safe in my case to just avoid this potentially harmful exercise. Or uh... maybe he's biased by his clientele. Herp derp derp.

We've been looking at a lot of new places recently that are advertised as "Three Car Tandem Garages". Really just a two car with one really long bay. Very odd the first time I saw it. (Still odd now.)
