Hefeweisen is the girliest beer I've ever had it was extremely bubbly and very low on the bitter factor. Almost champagne like.

There was some feature on Bolton a while back that was really great. He described his training history.

The first time he deadlifted, he was able to pull 600 pounds and squat 485. He started squatting and doing the core lifts and then went on a standard powerlifting peaking cycle, like 10 weeks or something. And every time he ran it he'd put 50+ pounds on every lift, and basically just ran it over and over and over until he was the strongest man in the world.

So, somehow the right configuration of genes was combined to create a man possessing an innate ability to pull 600 pounds with no training.

A real question would be why was he so strong? Actual work? Beating people up? etc?

Probably woulda done better with SS/TM ldo.

Wasn't he a sprinter and rugby player as a teen?

sounds right

He definitely first started powerlifting when he was 17 and pulled 600 the first time he ever deadlifted

He's a truckie isn't he? Boatloads of greasy calories and amphetamines ftw

I picked up some creatine today. I did some research on creatine and felt like it was a good time to start taking it, at least start it by next month. I felt like I had done enough homework on but when I went to buy it, I realized I didn't do any research on the different brands. So I just sat there and got pitched on the highest selling most popular type of creatine and bought it. I felt a little bit like a chump, but they have a good return policy so I can get my money back if it doesn't work.

On the outside, it just seemed like a lot of broscience, my leg press went up 54 pounds blah blah blah. I'm going to give it a go, I got 4 months worth of it so hopefully I'll get some real results. And, there were 4 different things about it, that I think is different than the (regular form?) other creatine that I had researched. This was all in her pitch at the store, but I remember most of it.

1. No loading phase. I heard that's it's important to successfully complete the loading phase when you start taking creatine, for the best chance of good results. I guess they figured out a way to skip it with this formula.

2. No water weight/ water retention. I thought this was a big part of taking creatine. Extra water weight, extra water in your muscles, etc. I don't really know on this one.

3. Take it any time, every day. I thought that you peaked after taking it (a hour or 2?) but apparently you just take this any time and it works really well all the time.

4. Not monohydrate. Not sure what this means, and what the opposite is, polyhydrate, probably. Anyway, not sure about this.

So what do you think? Have I got the latest newest bestest form of creatine yet? Or did I just get duped into another sales pitch? Time will tell I think.

Smells like dupe to me. I just get pure stuff at the health food store along with my bulk made peanut butter. But I could be wrong.

Sounds like dupesville

Yeah the more I was typing that, the more I realized it sounds like a sucker bet.

Oh well, I'll consider myself free rolling with the return policy and all. And who knows, maybe it'll turn out awesome.

I bought a hudge bucket of weightgainer I later discovered had 5 types of fish in it (Whilst being healthy it made me dry wretch at least the first 3 times I consumed it) at GNC and immmeadiately regretted it but its not too bad.
Choco Fish Bulk Gainer FTW (not actual name)

Its the only supplement that I almost definitely felt an improvement. Which says a lot about supplements. The ass dyno felt something with creatine.

NEVER drink (real) Hefeweizen from a bottle though. The yeast (="Hefe") will settle at the bottom of the bottle and the stuff tastes horrible. You need to pour it into a glass. They have a special form actually (not my hand obv. Random google pic):
newb.. the yeast is delicious. You're supposed to pour it so that you leave a little beer in the bottle, with the yeast, then swirl it around, and pour it over the head so all the yeast gets in there.

I agree that Benny is looking pretty on the money to break Bolton. Bolton still is the greatest deadlifter in history at this point in time.

Rows and pull ups are what you should add to SS if you aren't doing power cleans isn't that right?
Does that mean
A:Squat/Press/Deadlift
B:Squat/Bench/Rows+Pull Ups

or B: Squat/Bench/Rows (alternating with Pull Ups each workout)

Yes imo would work fine. In before learn PC's.
