Eh. Its a reiteration of Madcow's stuff/basic truth. Which is basically "eat enough protein, then eat everything else you can lift and maybe some things you can't". It also reeks of awesome and perfectly coincides with the fall which is bulking season for virtually everyone (sans me as I got all fat for summer to show I dun curr).

It's something to aspire to.

Plus, you don't have to wear it. Just hang it up.

eesh. Pretty bad. You're too shallow. You're not keeping your chest up on the ascent and GMing everything. Your knees are caving a little bit. Fix all of those things.

in honor of 70s big I decided I'm gonna find some tasty pumpkin ales for this weekend.

I also like the DeMichele / 70s big Scale.

all belgians are high, cuz they're tasty as hell, high in alcohol, and thus higher in calories.

If I can't find any good pumpkin ales, I'm gonna with some heavy stout (Old Rasputin is my go to, but we'll see), or maybe some overpriced Allagash brew.
10-15-2009 , 01:52 AM
I don't know if they'll ever even sell this outside of the brewery, but when I was @ Magic Hat this summer they had an experimental chocolate stout that was absolutely tremendous.

My brother goes to UVM so when we move him back in the summer I plan on filling up ~20 growlers w/ fresh from the tap beer

Sam Adams octoberfest has pumpkin flavoring and is really good, but it's super hard to find depending on where you live, I've seen it 2x so far. Also, harvest moon, blue moon's seasonal autumn ale, is very tasty, but I'm not sure if it has pumpkin, but I'm sure you'd like it.

On another note, I was just looking in the mirror at my back and have really terrible back acne. It's never been that great but today it was looking terrible. I always wear clean clothes, wash my sheets regularly, have good hygiene. Wtf is this from? I don't have acne any where else just all over my back. I should probably see a dermatologist I guess. Anyone with any home remedies that have experienced this?

f pumpkin flavoring. I can get that swill. I want big ass chunks of pumpkin floating in my beer.

In my Fitday trolling... I came across this "The healthy weight range for your height is between 121.7 lbs and 164.4 lbs." WTF?!?! That is girl sized.

Being obese according to BMI is a badge of honor, it means you are no longer completely scrawny. Doesn't take much either.

How many of you guise use chalk for every SS-related exercise, specifically the sqats?

Haven't used it for squats so far, but re-reading SS I noticed Rip recommends it for them as well.
10-15-2009 , 05:00 AM
never used it for squat or bench. i used it on the press like twice, but really only on deadlift and power cleans.
10-15-2009 , 05:01 AM
I didn't, but after dropping one of the slippier bars off my back in the power rack last night Ima gonna start taking my chalk along.

Just read up on the myorep scheme, and goddamn that's some hard ****.

Basic concept: 1 set to failure (e.g 10 reps), then 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 or whatever, with hardly any pause between sets.

That better be insanely more effective than following Lyle's basic 2x5 twice a week scheme, sounds really hard.

This will happen to me if I don't take my contacts out for like a week. Or a month. Sometimes two.
