Weird how you missed 355 imo, but I can attest that sometimes, even though it feels like you get close, and watching back it looks like you get even closer, sometimes it just refuses to go up, no matter how much WIM you have.


Any 2011 goals?

I would love to, I dont have a belt so I havent really considered them yet. Do you need a special kind of belt? I guess maybe 24hr would have one. I would like to do some, and some dips too.

I was going to be surprised if I hit 355 there. I have a good feel for when I have it in me usually, and I was just testing in case I was wrong. I think I prob could've had it if I was psyched up for it.

As far a 2011 goes its gonna prob include a med size bulk and cut. I might do more than one too. Not sure how much work I'm down to hit a 4 plate squat, but If I had to set 1 goal that would be it. More lbm, less fat. No idea atm how much work I'm willing to do though.

Thanks for asking, I'll update if I get more idea where I want to go with my training.

every 24hr i've been to has a weight belt that you can use if you give them your keys or ID. I'm not sure how beneficial it is, but I constantly try to change up my chipup/pullup workouts...one day do them weighted, another day just bodyweight, one day do really heavy weighted negatives, mix up different grips(wider/narrower), etc.

In the end though, I pretty much feel like most of the increases in pullups/chinups simply come from me losing bodyweight.

The biggest dumbell I own is a 45lb and I hold that behind a knee. Basically right behind knee, lift up foot like a hamstring curl I guess, then turn foot inward towards other knee and stabilize with other leg.

I know. I need more work on going atg with HB. I realized this recently. weights up to 265 I go atg, but higher than 285 I don't get as low. I squatted yesterday but I might go today and do some light volume to work on it.

It doesnt help that I keep moving my stance width either.

Front of my left hip is not feeling good at all, part of the reason I took 6 days off, and it was almost worse yesterday, my first day back. After getting a set or two done it wasn't too bad though. Same today first set it was painful. Right knee is starting to feel better though.

Just do quarter squats in the smith machine. Make sure to wear pad and gloves though. And post form check.

But for real, can u do that Starr rehab method on squats? Like 20 reps with the bar a few times. I dunno, I think Halfslant did it for his shoulder.

I'll look into it. I cant remember who it was but someone(blackize?) talked about how they had front hip issues and air humps were helpful.

Anyone else have front hip issues? Its more in the very top front of my leg.

It feels better when I hump it out.

Is it muscular or in your tendons? If tendons, there's not much you can do besides rest and ice it afaik and from personal experience. Sounds a bit weird that you can do lunges that stretch the hip muscles/tendons quite a bit too.

I think it might be a tendon. There were a few lunges that were uncomfortable but for the most part I had no problems with it.

I've got two 35lb dumbells at home I forgot about.

I used to do all kinds of bro work with them but now they just sit around.
