Khalyn,

Is there a method to your programming right now, and is there a reason that you don't seem to deadlift anymore?

I like to follow the logs of the people who seem to be around the same training status as myself, but I cannot really tell where you are going with your training right now.

Good questions jdock.

Deadlift is my weakest lift. I put off doing it cause I felt like I needed some help before I hurt myself. Resetting helped but I just got sick of resetting all the time. I was planning on DLing today before I got lightheaded.

My current goals are to maintain my lifts/progress on DL, learn how to clean, clean n jerk and snatch. I'm also going to keep doing HIIT stuff, probably doing more until I'm satisfied with my progress.

something strange going on, ever since I switched to highbar, I never know what to expect going into a workout. Monday I did 5x5x135kg(297lb), but today I can barely get any reps above 300. I am sick though, so maybe that has something to do with it.

5 min breaks in between. It seems like the thing stopping me from getting all 5 is breath control, I feel like I have 2 more reps easy but I cant get my breath under control. Tried to make up for it by just doing more sets. These dl's felt better than any other dl I've ever done, Working at broz has helped my form more than I realized. Will try and vid next friday.

referring to the deadlifts, it seems like Khalyn is not compact enough and too wide, but I cannot really tell if it is his legs that are too far apart, or if his arms are too far away from his legs (or both).

Also on squats seems like feet might be too far apart for high bar, causing knees to cave in.

not shoving his knees out is causing his knees to cave in. his width is fine. He can try bringing it in. up to him.

agree on the DL. try a little narrower stance and don't hold the bar in such a wide grip. chest up! i.e. tight upper back.
