it's kinda hard to tell, it's probably pretty close on your back, but your torso is pretty vertical.

God damn bro invasion in my gym tonight

Bench:
3x5x200
Ended up getting my first spot ever since starting SS tonight on my third set from a very nice large black man named Victor. He had a voice like Mike Tyson which sort of took me off guard for a second

Deads:
1x5x270

I think my lower back is okay, but my upper back is still rounded and probably always will be. Negatives a little shaky like I was rushing a bit. whatevs, was pretty easy so 280 next time

deads look pretty bad... i can't tell from the video but have you maybe tried a slightly wider grip? not sumo style, but maybe feet a little farther apart and hands too? I find it easier to get my chest up that way, which i think you still need to do since you're upper back looks pretty bad, which you realize

Dude was way too close to your cage in the squat lol. Squats look really good.

Why are you not coming to a complete rest on the DLs?

the stop and go completely baffles me. You've never done that before. Why out of the blue start doing it? wtf mang.

Squats look pretty solid though. Knees maybe caving a bit, force those puppies out.

i don't think knees are caving, they're just never out enough. feet are pointed too forward. deadlift needs one on one coaching.

deadlift: try foamrolling upper back to get rid of your thoracic rounding. I had some as well (although not as bad as you), and completely got rid of it after only two sessions. Think link til exercise is in my log, or PM me.

heh. I actually pointed them in a bit more than usual tonight b/c I was worried my stance was getting too wide/feet pointed too far out in order to get deep. whoops :O

that's an idea. I think my PC first pull position is a bit better than my DL, and I use a wider grip there. I'll give it a shot.

As far as the individual instruction on the DLs, I know you're right. I guess I'll just start calling local places. I've leterally never see anyone else deadlift at my Y, and I don't know if they even have PTs. No listings for my area on that directory either, but maybe I'll get lucky.

It's blizarding today so probably no work out. I'm feeling really discouraged and bad. I made a MilesDyson breakfast last night and ate maybe 25% of it. I'm so ****ing bad at eating.

Did you have a gigantic squat reset at some point?

I have actually skimmed this log pretty thoroughly but I can't remember why you're doing 255 now versus 245 when you started months ago.

I was sick and lost about three weeks, then about two weeks after that I got sick again and lost some time. So i've reset back to 225 or so a couple of times. I don't know wtf I'm doing at this point.

I've had two logs though, probably part of the confusion. First log was squat 135-->245, this has been 245-255 lol :/ Others lifts have gone up since starting this log, though.

It's possible that I'm no longer noob enough for SS, but I think more likely I just don't eat enough and I miss too many work outs. Not sure where I'm going to go from here.

It is pretty damn unlikely that 255 is enough for the intermediate stage. You just miss way too many workouts.

yeah that's it I'm sure. If you were me, would you go for 260 next time? I don't really know how a week off impacts things. I'm still pretty worried about failing on a squat rep for some reason. Also, my knees have been moving in some lately, and I was thinking about dropping down again to try to work on that per some chatter from a thread, I'm not sure which one

Just call knees moving in a failed rep

if I missed a week, I'd generally just go with whatever my last workout was. You shouldn't really lose strength in a week unless you took poor care of yourself. You could even try a standard increment, as most PLers take a week off or a big deload week before a meet or going for PRs.
