Nope, doesn’t work like that with sbux. They are really soft on applying rules. They also don’t want to break some worker violation.
You can call in sick and use your “sick hours”. Basically you accumulate them little by little depending on how many hours you’ve worked. Basically if you call in sick and you were scheduled for 8 hours that day, you can use 8 “sick hours” if you have them, and still get paid for those 8 hours you called off.
It’s sad. Like 99% of people take advantage of that. It’s free money and lying.
