Don't bother. You need to develop a smoothed, normalized push % chart for this to work. At that point you can just scrape all the spreads, and create a notification for any +EV teasers that pop up.

You'd need some incredibly shaded lines for this to work giving up the extra 8.3% You might be able to find a shaded -2.5 -140 or smth and get the math to work but lol.

Two of your locks loss. Should have just gone all on on your Bears.

What about your Bears next week vs Trevor Lawrence? He overrated tall goofy white dude. Don't know how they get 50 milly.

Yup, some of these owners/gm are totally brain dead and over pay for a mid-ass qb. It all started when NY paid Daniel jones. That is what set the market and now mediocrity is worth 45m+. Sad.

If Caleb keeps this up, u know damn well he’s getting 60m+ a year after his rookie contract.

No more betting until playoffs. Cutting my losses. Also need new rims for my new fixie. Been working on my rig, and I’ve probably invested $1800 on it after the rims get here.

Neck has been killing me. It’s the front squats. Might go back to back squatting today. We’ll see.

Bears money line is -130. Spread is -110 @ -1.5.

Wouldn’t it be smarter to just take the spread?

hard to say for this specific instance but about 10x games a year are decided by a single point so there's a world where the bears win by 1 point and you tilt your face off for taking the spread

fwiw the break even rate for -130 is 57% and -110 is 52%

while i'm sure that games which are that tight a spread have much higher odds of being decided by a single point, i'm not going to do that research to find out

my guess is spread is better but again, as a professional sports bettor, i can find a million different things to bet instead

typically spreads have less vig attached to them though, which could account for the gap

i'd personally take the spread - but again, i can't emphasize enough, you're not going to have a fun time trying to casually beat mainstream markets

ie if you want to do nfl, don't bet sides and totals but instead find a niche like total field goals or longest touchdown play

or do things where injuries make everything unclear, ie last monday the books assumed xavier worthy was going to soak up the rice volume but it turned out to instead be juju - perhaps if you paid attention to beat reporters writing about practice sessions or listened to andy reids press conferences that week you could have possibly learned that he will likely lean heavily on juju instead of worthy and then you make lots of monies on juju

Hmm.

I will only play money line, but really? U don’t think bears will win by at least a fg?

Offense on fire and jags bottom of league in pass defense.

Our d is legit and will probably hold them to like 17 points. Easy money.

I also want to parlay this thing(4 games) as there are injuries and drake Maye is starting. Easy money.

Yes. You also lose on the rare tie rather than getting a push.

You should do the work if you wanna be a pro. Nothing is stopping you other than laziness. I made millions betting. Perhaps I'm a brilliant man who is incredibly good at networking and you are not. But I think that I'm actually very good at those things and was willing to work at being good at them, while you are complacent being kinda "okay" at the stuff you're good at without finding ways to shore up your weak points. I literally explained earlier how to build a push chart from scratch earlier. Just ****ing do it.

i think this was addressed to n1h but in case it was directed to me

yes, i fully agree with everything you said about putting in the work, and i do put in the work, i just haven't put in the work on stuff that n1h is asking about because i've never bet that stuff myself

currently visiting my old friend from my 20s and staying at his place for a week, he's gone with me to the casino a bunch and i've literally showed him how i run the algos to determine what and where to bet what and instead he'll just stand next to me constructing a parlay out of a bunch of -500 favorites and then gets really annoyed when it loses - i'm literally there showing him the answer key and as my very good friend who invites me to stay with him and his family for a week, i'm willing to put in the time to coach him along the way and he'd rather just go about his own path - even where i explain to him how -ev his wagers are

doesn't matter how many times i tell him "yes that's going to win 90% of the time, but you're betting a line where it needs to win 95% of the time break even" and he says "yeah but i'm just betting it once, not thousands of times like you do"

It was directed to you.

I spend an inordinate amount of time explaining to otherwise incredibly smart people how math works. I mostly fake it now. I feel like a hooker offering a GFE where I do a little tongue swizzle and say "baby harder", but awkwardly look at ceiling and get caught at inappropriate times. But you should really master this aspect unless NFL betting is totally off the table for you. Regardless, if you wanna do some dumb **** like AFL or Rugby, etc. This will be an invaluable learning experience since you literally need to do the exact same thing there, expect its way more tedious.

very much appreciate it and know that long term i either need to get out of this game or master it enough to happily bet into mainstream markets

fwiw i did take notes on teaser info as in i agreed that was an optimal way to approach it rather than the "zomg i found a pph that offers -110 6 pt teasers" that i bet into oblivion and then get kicked off the site

Now @ gym.

Got 15 hour sleep last night. Had Korean bbq.

Set a x3@9 best deadlift.

What happened to flipping sneakers? Sounded like you were actually putting some effort into that and making a profit, in stark contrast to this new endeavor.

The sneaker game has changed. It’s no fun no more. Nothing is limited. Nike pumping out mass production.

Also the market has dropped. No one buying anything bc of inflation. They need housing and food.

Still got some bangers in my collection. Will hold onto those. Maybe if trump is elected, the economy might turn around.

Very proud of my dl today. Thought I lost it, but some minor tweaks in form and good sleep is all I needed. Form wasn’t too bad either.

Also, tonight i saw an old dude at McDonald’s with the worst rounded back I’ve ever seen. He walks in a 45 degree angle and his thoratic is completely rounded. Now this got me questioning…. Can lifting turn into this? I am considering retiring the deadlift. It’s scary stuff. I do not want to be like this old man. Maybe load up 3 wheels and just go at that. Easy peasy. I am not old. Almost 40. Not sure how much damage I’ve done, but today I saw the light.

The second largest political party in Sweden has its roots in white nationalism and actual neo-nazis.

The fact you think this is "shocking" is more indicative of your own insular worldview and cocooned lifestyle than anything you think it says about other people.

I don't think it is shocking, at all.

I also don't think I have a particularly insular worldview, but will readily and happily admit to a cocooned lifestyle.

The fact that you didn't understand soulman's sarcastic use of the word shocking is really shocking.

Anyway lol @ the economy getting better/worse because of whoever gets elected president.
