Maybe in Cambodia. I have muesli once or twice a day. It's about $5/kg which is ok I think. Prices vary hugely tho, theres also waaay overpriced stuff like you mention.
12-11-2016 , 06:34 AM
Yeah, Cambodia is AIDS for western groceries. I seem to recall muesli being pretty expensive in Chiang Mai though when I lived there.

I lived in Chiang Mai as well for a year and it's definitely not easy there to get western stuff for cheap. Mostly because online shopping sucks balls in Thailand and local import sections at supermarkets are expensive.

If China didn't have Taobao it would suck balls here as well, local stores often charge 2x-5x for the same product online for literally anything ranging from foods to clothes to supplements to electronics.

What were you doing there Renton? When?

There is no amazon in SE Asia?
12-11-2016 , 07:39 AM
Amazon works but having to wait 4-8 weeks and sometimes having orders get stuck in customs for really random mundane **** is a huge pain in the ass and not worth it. If I buy something online I want to be opening the package 2 days later. I even buy milk online.

I'm late to the party but I have a short haired cat and I've never had him groomed. I had a longhair that I never had groomed either but had to cut hair tangles out all the time.

For reference, I can palm a basketball.

Took me a minute and a re-read, but pretty solid joke.

Start at the ends of the tangles and see if you can make any progress without too much pain.

If not, take him in. He might need to get the snarls cut or shaved out. Then if it starts again in the future you'd know to brush them out straight away.

We did have a cat when I was a kid that had to get shaved since he'd go outside and get burdocks stuck in his fur.

Like, if you had a cold would you just skip the gym until it was gone? Lighten the workout? Proceed as normal?

I rarely get sick and this isn't terrible, like I'm fine to walk around and still doing wife's rehab including carrying her sometimes (just pause to sneeze occasionally). Just don't want to wake up feeling like dog**** and regret it.
12-11-2016 , 02:32 PM
Train with all colds. If you puking, stay home. Imo.

SS you ok? Try more Christian Bale pics, less everything else.

So confused with edits and jazz ITT, and there isn't even French involved

When I have a cold, training is the only time I feel good. Fever no dice ime. Just gonna get under some blankets so I don't get chilly! K.
12-11-2016 , 03:16 PM
Agree. Always feel better after training. Cure all after too for like an hour at least.

I usually take some Aleve or whatever to knock down the fever. If it's bad enough that that the meds don't knock it down, I would still try to train but cut volume and intensity. Unless really ill..then I go home, hit the couch and watch cartoons with the kids.
12-11-2016 , 03:18 PM
Training with a fever is obviously a no go, but also if I have anything respiratory-wise that affects my ability to get a full breath. That **** cost me the month of November.
12-11-2016 , 03:40 PM
This is a lot like the ch1ll.t0wn meltdown in SE. Sad!
12-11-2016 , 05:51 PM
SS - you're making this thread borderline unreadable.

H - proceed to training.
12-11-2016 , 05:57 PM
Training with a cold is probably fine and better to at least maintain. I'm a baby and don't train at all when I have a cold. It's one of the myriad reasons I never make any gainz.
12-11-2016 , 06:18 PM
Thanks guys, will do assuming I can convince wife not to worry.

I'm thinking this cold may be the reason I've been bonking stuff recently. Maybe.
