I'm not a difficult personality. No one else at work has a problem working with me.
MLYLT,

Do you really believe this? Surely you must have picked up some clues over thousands of posts over many years?

Undertitle change?
05-18-2018 , 07:40 AM
bigger,

I don't remember exactly, but I think there's still a few months of the ten month term remaining on this current one as per the requirements of her bet with Thremp.
05-18-2018 , 07:51 AM
She has completed her time. I feel like it was a fun but ultimately unrewarding month since she appears to have just ranted about my TDEE with her excel sheet without realizing that not eating and walking more is pretty simple.

Monte,

I like "I can complain all I want" better than "I'm not a difficult personality", fwiw.

As far as undertitle goes, I still like...

Pretty much this. More of a fairness to the community thing than any sort of codified law of the land. Plus it might have the positive side effect of making her think twice before posting unrelated bull****.

Looks like she said the magic word--toove--so we're moving on.

Didn't answer your question because it should be intuitive that I am adding up the calories of what I am eating as I am posting here and i already stated that I was going to go back and get the exact counts when I debug my phone. Your question was basically assuming I'm metaly ******ed and think there would be some use in just writing down what I ate and shows that you haven't been paying attention because anyone else can see that I want the counts for my spreadsheet.

I had a piece of pizza and a power aid at the ball fields for dinner last night.
Estimating yesterday @around 1400cals

MLYLT,

What do you mean by this? In the past you've been more than happy to input numbers into your spreadsheets that are completely made up.
05-18-2018 , 10:12 AM
But your spreadsheet is consistently and fundamentally wrong. So of course there’s some use to writing down what you eat every day rather than doing some weird mental gymnastics where you try to remember what you ate last weekend or 4 days ago or whatever, and then applying your estimation methods to it.

What, then, is the point of this log?
05-18-2018 , 10:15 AM
I had already explained I was logging in this log to go back and get the exact counts from my app and he asked what I thought the purpose of logging was.

"I smarter than all you mother****ers" is also a good one, like sumey just mentioned in the other thread.

I still think "I can complain all I want" is perfect though, that post of hers sums her up better than all the other ones.
05-18-2018 , 11:46 AM
MLY,

Maybe you should take this current issue as a sign that you should switch from janky ass SparkPeople to an app where the user populated data is less metaly ******ed?

All,

I think "Can complain all she wants" is probably the leader in the clubhouse for me right now, but I am a man of the people.
05-18-2018 , 12:03 PM
^

'metaly ******ed' is a winner and just keeps the thread delivering.

And yea, lol @ still using SparkPeople after all the inconsistencies have been pointed out. Use MFP, ffs. And it's not like it's a big deal starting over, you start over on the actual diet every other day anyway, lol.

The purpose of logging is not just to produce your dumb spreadsheet though. You're supposed to be internalizing this stuff in real-time, learning to make good decisions, forming better habits, accepting advice from others. Who ****ing cares about some spreadsheet that tells you a week after the fact that you ate x calories of pizza and snow cones last Tuesday if you're not going to be accountable on a daily basis or be able to correlate the foods you're eating and their calorie counts with how satiated they make you feel?
05-18-2018 , 12:22 PM
Metallic Gymnast at least sounds cool.
05-18-2018 , 12:44 PM
Cit, noone even a tiny bit familiar with her would ever think that.

You should be using your log to plan your days/week. How else could someone with zero willpower and zero impulse control possibly even dream of sticking to a calorie restriction? Set forth a plan for the day (or better yet, the week) and stick to it. No excuses.

Again, let me be absolutely clear: your madness is not working, despite you claiming there is a method to it. The proof is in the weigh-ins.

Blaming some sort of glitch with your phone for not logging on a computer, tablet, etc. is very MLYLT of you. But it's not very effective.
05-18-2018 , 04:49 PM
Is your scale also broken?

Fri 5/10 log:
-eatingwell cherry pork
-2 slices gas station pizza
05-18-2018 , 09:17 PM
No muffins?
05-18-2018 , 10:00 PM
What is your plan for weight loss at this point? Eat nothing but junk food and then depend on random fasting and sheer willpower to keep your calories down? You've supposedly been trying to learn healthy habits for more than 2 years now. Is gas station pizza really best you can do at this point? Pizza 2 days in a row, Mexican restaurant the day before, forgetting your wallet the only thing that saved you from fast food the day before that, Chili's the day before. Wtf are you doing? Where are the numerous nutritious options that should be your instinctive, go-to defaults by now?
