Criticizing mods from other forums in "your" health and fitness thread may not go well for you MLYLT.

This is the last time I will warn you about this.

So I got a Facebook invite for Photofeeler.com and stupidly did a "test" with my pic.

People can rate your dating profile pics, linked in profile pics, or just regular.

Am I ugly and I don't realize it? I thought this pic was really good and attractive.

25.8% Ugly
51.6% Not ugly, but not pretty
22.6% Pretty
So does this put me at something like a 3 or 4 on the 10 point scale?

Any advice besides losing more weight to increase my attractiveness?

Can't even imagine subjecting myself to a vote like that. Lesson learned, maybe?

MLY,

Read the book, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a ****
https://www.amazon.com/Subtle-Art-No.../dp/0062457713

I haven't read it myself because I don't give a ****, but you may find it helpful.

Thanks! I will read this.

I have hormones and ovaries and stuff, so I still want some advice on being more attractive.

Well not being super fat is a great start!

Shut it Mihkel! I'm already working on that.

I was thinking more along the lines of wearing different color lipstick or something.

When I wear makeup, it looks like my eyes are too wide set without the inner eye shadows...like alien eyes. Does anyone else see this? Should I get some contouring stuff and add some shadows?
Or is natural more appealing than make up on me?

Would I look better with bangs or a different hair color?

I've tried to put colored contacts in once before and it was too scary and a complete fail, so I couldn't try a softer blue or brown eyes. I think my eye color is too...bright, like I don't have soft eyes like a light brown or soft blue that make people look sweet.

MLYLT,

Generally speaking, those are all things guys don't really consider important and don't really think about and don't really have an opinion on. Maybe the women will want to chime in if you don't call them raging ****s and stuff.

Don't be the overweight girl trying to compensate with makeup and contours. Just stick to your fitness and diet, let time do its thing.

I think if you had better bras it would make all the difference in the world.

But seriously, never subject yourself to any form of internet hot or not. It is literally zero good and all bad every time.

Also, if I had done what LL did the entirety of OOT and probably 2+2 would have heartily mocked me into Bolivia.

Often times in life it is not what is said or done, but who is doing the saying and doing.

You mean him exiling me like he did?

Thumbs on the bras. I know the sports bras I take my weight loss pictures in aren't the most flattering. While I want the pictures to look good, I don't want them to look like I'm trying to be sexual....make sense? And, I wear them for work just for comfort. I'm still wearing the 3X work shirts I got when I started too. I look completely grungy for work. If I wear makeup one day, everyone notices. If I wear a normal bra, I notice the unintentional boob stares.

Yeah. I tried a completely different picture with a smile and no make up just taken really quickly on the couch. Worse results.

Pretty good joke

MLY I was joking about the bras, it was a reference to one of your many zany happenings.

Nobody gets my jokes

Don't take selfies with your phone. A wide angle lens is not your friend.
08-24-2017 , 11:28 PM
I once posted in a subreddit based on judging appearance. The feedback was about what you'd expect, but what it basically proved to me was that I have genuinely reached the point where I honestly don't give a **** what people think of my appearance. I heartily recommend reaching that point.
08-24-2017 , 11:45 PM
Like others said, not giving an F of what people think is probably the best thing. But some constructive criticism on things you could change might be trying bangs like you mentioned. You seem to have a bit of a high hairline, so bangs could help soften the forehead distance and give a better first impression. I also agree that the photos seem to have "selfie distortion", and the distance between your eyes may seem artificially larger.

But IMO, what internet polling people think of you based on a single pic is less important than how actual personal interactions which include demeanor, etc. From what you write you have a lot of people saying you look attractive IRL, so you might do better with just ignoring this weird online "pretty test".

Thanks for the advice Ginger, Didace and RJ.

That's the first time I ever tried an online "pretty" test and thought it might be interesting as people irl can give fake compliments to save your feelings.

I didn't think I was a burden or that my posting was a problem in H&F. What's the problem exactly? You literally have to click on my log and read it to see my post in H&F, so how am I imposing? You can choose not to read my log right? You don't have to do anything or have had to do anything mod wise in regards to me, so what's the deal?

I've clearly made a lot of progress since the beginning of my log a year ago in regards to health and fitness. This doesn't in any way make me a part of this forum? I'm an outsider, a neusiance to the H&F forum and not part of it?

Why exactly don't you "want me" here?

Don't worry, Aidan's just another small dick power hungry loser

Also, *nuisance

MLY,

That post was a congratulations! You interpreted it as negativity but the thing that makes you look most unattractive is weighing as much as an NFL defensive lineman, and you are easily down to NFL safety size now.

Also, these comments about "not caring" are kinda lol cognitive dissonance and people wanting to indulge in some aspect of sociopathic personality as a form of covering up for their own sensitivity. Having some sort of reasonable idea of how attractive you are to the overall populace is fine, as is trying to look more attractive for any reason (impress girls/guys/they, find a mate, have people notice you, get attention, w/e). Do whatever you want, you seem to be well on that path anyway.
