You say you're smarter than everyone here so....
It makes total sense for a phone application to glitch out after an update. Updates often change random things in the OS that can easily cause a program to break. Given that you're using some crapass moto x whatever flip phone (i'm kidding kind of) this is even doubly more true than if you were using an extremely common type of phone.
And how would they make money from this? Has an application ever charged a customer extra after it was broken? Ever? Working software makes money, broken software doesn't.
think this through for a minute. you say you're a really intelligent person and stuff but this is just moron stuff if you actually believe it even a little. But i think you do, because you've doubled down on it like twice now.
Also, LoL, "iphone throttling" isn't even remotely related to what we're talking about here, nor do i think you know what you're even referring to.
