The whole way back to Dallas he just talked about how I need to act and think different and just be a different person.
You play with your shirt up?

Hahaha, my shirt came up and exposed my back a little.

Code's a dick, but you're in control of your actions, habits and behaviors and that's what you should be focusing on.

You weren't joking. You got lit and now you're backpedaling (like you've done in this very forum many times).
Code3 tells me to play ABC all the time baaah.

I had looked up all the players at my table the night before and they all had several cashes $20k-$40k, so I went in thinking they were all really good and played as if they were.
The guy that busted me was heads up for the 1st place $40k(it might have been more) when I busted out of the women's tournament.

You should ask him for your buyin back
04-09-2018 , 11:17 PM
Code should have dressed in drag and hung around the table after you busted from the ladies tourney, so he could hear what they said about you after you left. That would have made more good fodder for here.

MLYLT, what the **** is up with all the poker bull**** and code bull**** in your H&F log? You have a blog in the blog forum when you want to vent and you have all of OOT ready and willing to make fun of you when you want negative attention. Why clutter up this log with that garbage?

Everyone but you knows you shouldn't be with code and I doubt many people following your health progress here are interested in hearing about how poorly you play poker. People here are rooting for you to do well health-wise. Please don't ruin that goodwill by spewing unrelated silliness.

That was the whole extent of her reasoning:

So I took off work today because I couldn't walk down my stairs when I got up with my back and hip hurting so bad. I was also tired and feeling manic on top of being in sever pain. Went to a spine doctor and got x-rays of my lower back and hips and it turns out I have scoliosis and by lower back looks like an S. They referred me to another spine surgeon....I don't know what's gonna happen or if I should be lifting or what. I think being in the car for so long and sitting at the poker table all weekend did me in. I'm just hurting so bad and the doctor wouldn't give me pain meds, only muscle relaxers. Said I couldn't get a steroid shot either because I've been taking an anti-inflammatory medicine my regular doctor gave me because of my shoulder pain which does nothing to relieve the pain. How do these people addicted to Vicodin and other pain meds actually get perscriptions? I need something and I don't think I've ever taken anything stronger than the prescription Tylenol. Why won't they give me pain meds?
04-11-2018 , 09:55 AM
You got in to see a specialist, they took x rays, and gave you a diagnosis all in the same day?

Either I am missing something here or bum**** texas has the best healthcare in the country.
04-11-2018 , 10:52 AM
It's a pretty easy diagnosis. Three Spine and Joint doctors opened up a walk in clinic for people that have injuries. Instead of going to the hospital, they can go there. It's kinda like one of those mini ERs except for people that strained their backs, broke an arm, or some other injury like that. Kinda awesome as I couldn't get in with a specialist until next Wed.

Texas has pretty good doctors, for people with good jobs with good insurance anyway.

It's actually a pretty good state to live in if you got money and... look a certain way.

All the prop bet talk got me to thinking about my PE license.

I started my application today, hopefully I can network with some PEs to sign off on me soon. I guess I'll be studying pretty hard for the exam for the next few months.

Food logs. Also, what happened to not announcing goals?
04-12-2018 , 06:44 PM
She never said that was a goal, and what good did it do her?
04-12-2018 , 07:13 PM
My diet has been absolute crap since last Friday.
I didn't have much to eat the past weekend because I didn't have much time to eat, but I ate mostly pizza the entire time.
I have no idea what I ate M-W.
I was around 2700 cals yesterday. I'm at 1640 today right now.

My weight yesterday was 215.6, so about a lb heavier than the 1st of the month.

I don't think applying for my PE is really a goal. It's just something I'm doing. I'll need 3 PE referrals though and I don't know any
04-12-2018 , 07:16 PM
Oh, I can't work out right now either due my hip pain. It hurts just to walk. I guess I'll have to take a couple of weeks off from the gym, stretch everyday, and see if it gets better.
04-12-2018 , 07:16 PM
MLYLT,

It's the days you eat like crap you really need to log, because it's those days you always seem to forget when summing up your progress weeks/months later.

Good luck with the PE stuff!

Don't worry about the gym for now if you're in pain. Focus on getting your food logging consistent.

Backsliding.
04-12-2018 , 08:27 PM
Thanks Fabian.

Nah, not backsliding. I just haven't made any progress the last week and wasn't prepped grocery wise from being out of town last weekend and hurting too bad to go to the store this week and being manic for about 3 days.
I'm feeling normal again, so next week should be much better.

You haven't made any progress in far longer than a week. How much progress have you made this calendar year? Deleted the excuses for you.

I always find it hard to keep track of MLYLT's weight since she doesn't post it regularly, but I went back looked and here are all the numbers I could find in the last couple pages:

September 17 219.0
October 1 220.5
October 17 216.3
November 1 218.1
November 17 220.8
December 1 222.6
December 17 218.3
December 19 218.6
January 1 218.3
January 18 215.2
February 1 215.2
February 18 213.5
March 1 214.1
March 9 214.6
March 22 215
April 1 213.7
April 12 215.6

If you want to be mean about it, you could say she's lost 0.7 lbs in the last six months (oct 17 to apr 12). If you want to be nice about it, you could say she's lost 4.9 lbs in the last 6ish months (oct 1 to apr 12). Either way, I think it's fair to say not that much has happened lately.

MLYLT,

As always, I encourage you to log accurately and consistently
04-12-2018 , 09:51 PM
That looks like maintenance.

My sources say ytf's settled in the 250-260 range.

Hopefully MLYLT doesn't settle for this 215.
04-12-2018 , 09:51 PM
She lost almost 10 lbs between December 1 and April 1. But unlike lots of people who lose 100 pounds, she's kept the weight off unlike many people do who lose that much weight.
