Cook and serve pudding is a great option there. Also a pretty satisfying sweet that's easy to fit in calorie-wise, if you keep it to a single serving.

I'd rather eat that than marketed diet stuff. Fun and easy to make with your daughter too. That's true of ice cream as well, but pudding is infinitely easier to make.

in my experience it usually is much shorter. is "muscle memory" a factor? like, if you have been athletic in the past, does it take much less time to mentally adapt and feel desire to work out? for me this has always taken around 2 weeks or less. could be youth tho.

and some things never go away. like certain drugs.

Here are the “automaticity” (i.e. how automatic or habitual a behavior is) over time results for 6 different tasks. The exercise groups took one and a half times longer to reach their asymptote than the drinking water or eating fruit groups. Given that exercising can be considered more complex than eating or drinking, this supports the proposal that complexity of the behaviour impacts the development of automaticity. Automaticity scale is from 0-42:

Been busy this weekend. I played tennis yesterday and today for exercise.
Tomorrow starts the working late and weekends, so I'll see how going to the gym during lunch works.

I also started painting again and I'm feeling really good mentally.

Painted this last night and today. I've got a few mistakes to correct on it, but almost finished.

I congratulate MLYLT for going one week without saying or doing anything stupid or insane. I tend to speak up when she doesn't listen to good advice and does something stupid or insane as a result, so it's only fair that I recognize when she's doing better.

Keep up the good work and shoot for one month.

Why is there no update on daily calories?

That's all the log needs, daily caloric intake and 3 gym sessions per week. It takes maybe 10 minutes of time per week to log.

I hope you guys don't give any props to this new guy crushing it over there in that thread. Guy says he learned so much from this thread and now starts a log and updates once a month. Unacceptable. Logging makes everything real, not logging makes it fairy tale material.

Lol @ still squatting those shoes and playing tennis in those shoes. Once you gain some agility in tennis, say hello to blowing out your ankle.

Rapini, LOL thanks I guess

LOCO, I've been crazy busy and will get some logs in tonight

land O lakes,
What shoes should I be playing tennis in? I can't have 5 different pairs of shoes for everything. Yeah, I squated in my black Nike's last week. Completely just forgot to get my other ones out of the car whiles rushing at lunch.

This has been what's going on, I've been working almost 11 hrs a day and going in on weekends. My scatter brained boss still hasn't give out the list or assignments of what is supposed to get done this month or forwarded any emails or info about it, so I've been trying to clear everything off my plate in preparation for having to do that **** the last two weeks of the month. Trying squeeze the months scheduled work into last week and this week while fighting the daily fires.
I was able to workout during lunch 2 days last week, played tennis 2 days this past weekend, and went to the gym today.

My weight peeked to 216.5 yesterday from being around 212 mid week. I haven't had any blowup days or been over maintenance calories.

I plan on playing poker 2 weekends this month, and baseball starts next week, so I will be just running around for the entire month.

I was being serious. I don't care about your job or how many inches you've lost in your hips. I worry about you self-destructing and taking those around you with you when you do.

You have not come close to that in quite a while. That is a strong achievement. Keep your concentration on work, cooking, art, exercise, time with MLYLT Jr., and you'll get to a month in no time.

Something with lateral support.

I forgot to mention that I have successfully cut back to 1-2 diet Cokes a day from 10-12 for the past 3 weeks....spured by being challenged by a guy at work.
If I can cut them out completely, that will be a $96 savings per month.

Now if I could just stop smoking and switch to vaping already :/
That would be $220/month savings and I could finally starr paying a weekly housekeeper to clean and do laundry.

Congrats on cutting back diet coke!!!!

What's the complication with switching to vaping?
