I took full body measurements as well. At the end of each month I'll report inches lost.

This is my body shape, and the figure I want by December:

I'm kinda just doing random crap trying to get into the groove of actually working out.

I mean doing something is better than nothing. I do bench and leg press to work out my boob and butt muscles.

Ultimately I want my boobs perky again, my ass round, and my stomach flat. Any good workout plans to work on those areas would be great!

You can't really "work on areas" that much. You just work, and the weight comes off how it's gonna come off. Spot toning is a myth.

There are a million opinions about weight lifting routines. A lot of people on this forum recommend starting with "Starting Strength" and I liked it OK I guess. It's 4 or 5 compound lifts, on a regular rotation, and not muchc else. (Squat, deadlift, bench press, overhead press and kinda optionally one other one that I can't remember. Power cleans?). I guess maybe try it and see if you like it.

I think I'd focus on aerobic exercise to start though. Walking, then longer walking, then brisker walking, maybe some cycling, run if you feel like it. Beyond it's ability to burn calories, improving your aerobic system makes you feel better. But then again, it's something I like to do, so I don't know if it's good advice or just what I personally like.

Be very wary of giving yourself credit for burning calories with exercise. Most online calculators over-estimate calorie burn by 2x in my experience.

Sorry, but that just ain't happening. Age+gravity+weight gain=sag. Working the underlying muscles will help some, but not all that much. Just concentrate on being fit - 18 years old just isn't happening again.

yea they overestimate caloric burn by a lot. Some of it is offset because they also underestimate required caloric intake but definitely not even close to the margins as the former.

I'm addicted to bell peppers now, so I made a big bowl of bell peppers, purple onions, and feta cheese.


I also found a gym 15 mins from my house that has open volleyball nights! I'm excited about playing and getting in a good workout.

Roasting bell peppers in the oven (toss with a little olive oil, salt & pepper, I like some garlic too) is really delicious. Same goes for sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, carrots, and onions (and many more).

That looks good, probably something I can get my roommate to eat too.

ymmv but I like to boil the peppers briefly (there's a term for this) prior to stuffing & baking to get them a little softer.

I baked them for 45 mins at 400F. They turned out soft and really delicious, but there was a lot of water buildup in the peppers. Maybe try to put some holes in the bottom of them.

Recipe: ground turkey, ketchup, mustard, warstershire, salt, pepper, garlic powder. They were delicious!!!
