Regarding those last 2 yoga poses, plow and shoulderstand, I wouldn't recommend them, especially to inexperienced practicioners. I don't think the cervical spine should be supporting weight like that. I practice daily and occasionally teach power yoga and never do them myself.

You do have a nice wheel pose (try to keep feet parallel and hip distance apart), which requires a decent amount of strength and flexibility, so congrats on that.

Thanks for the advice!

So I just had spine x Ray's done because my shoulder keeps hurting.
I took pictures of the screen.

What the hell is this horn thing? I was lying on my side in this one.

And my lower rib angles down so far.

My doctor won't see these or get the results until next week :/

Lol. That's my boob(I think). The top is my head and neck and the horn is at the top of my shoulder. This was taken from above with me laying on my side and head bent forward.

OMG...is that black spot a tumor in my boob?

Yes, clearly the play here is to freak out about it and blow things way out of proportion.

10-27-2017 , 07:05 PM
Is the horn painful? Seems like it would be extremely painful.
10-27-2017 , 07:30 PM
My shoulder has been hurting for months. :/

Did anyone notice that I am missing ribs?
10-27-2017 , 08:45 PM

Most people when experiencing demonic possession grow horns somewhere in the head area. So I don’t think it’s that. IANAD though.

LOL, that’s your scapula, dip****.

Get leo doc in here to confirm. I’d bet actual money. Jfc.

Where would you go where your x-rays aren't read immediately?

I've had tons of x-rays, never not had them read minutes after they were taken. MRIs could be a different story.

Not only not reading them immediately, but sending the patient home with them to worry? Sounds just irresponsible to me.

VR,

Hopefully you don't need medical tests one day, but it may behoove you to learn how the process generally works.

G4S,

Anywhere without a radiologist on staff. So basically any urgent care/for pay ****hole/townie derp "hospital"/etc. Could also be that whoever normally works there is just on vacation. Lots of places that aren't major hospitals may have a tech who can operate the machine (and likely knows what it is with decent accuracy), but isn't qualified to be like: "Welp that is def a horn. Need an exorcism."

I'm in a really small town, so I had to go a larger town over to a place that does x-rays and mri's then sends them to your doctor. My doctor's office is only open 3 full days a week and I won't get the results till Monday.

There are lots of places (like an urgent care) without a radiologist present, where the ordering physician (obviously never a tech) will interpret the x-ray and tell the patient what they think is going on at the same visit. The official report will (almost always) be generated by a radiologist later.

Even when a radiologist is present, a lot of times the ordering doc will just read the x-ray and tell the patient what is going on because it's a routine thing that they are comfortable with. They won't need to review the film with the radiologist. The radiologist will generate the report later.

The setup that MLYLT describes is also not uncommon in small towns and rural areas. So, it's not that unusual for someone to just go get an x-ray and only find out the results later. Especially for a non-acute problem.

I've had in my life many many medical tests and many xrays. At no point in time have I ever been sent home with my films. Just strange to me. But yes, I am familiar with waiting for test results, thank you.
