I'm waiting on my daughters Christmas program to start and just watching how people are complete inconsiderate ****s.

It's in the cafeteria and some people have come in and saved the entire front tables for just their families. I showed up 30mins early to get a good seat. Three bitches told me seats are save...like 7 in a row when I tried to sit down. I'm about to just go sit there anyway. What the hell are they going to do about it.
12-12-2017 , 08:30 PM
Just tell them you were there 2 hours earlier and reserved all the front tables already
12-12-2017 , 08:39 PM
Lol

I went and sat on the floor in front of those bitches and a hoard of moms that were standing in the back followed me. They all had their hands above their heads with their cameras the entire time too hahahaha. It was so satisfying lol. I gave one of the women a really snarky look when it ended too.... inconsiderate Bitches

I'm not sure what you mean. I can't correlate the incident tonight with anything that might happen at work.

Love playing spot the spelling error(s) in MLYLT's food logs.

Bagles
Brocoli

MLY,

You are a super fat hulkbeast. Don't judge other people (atleast how you are). How would you feel if someone said, "Look at this morbidly obese woman attempt to do <thing normal people can do>".

Or you do your inner loco. W/e.

What is really amusing to me is that if YOU had come in earlier and "reserved" a bunch of seats then you would have complained how some rudepoos sat in front of you and held their camera above their heads the whole time and blocked your view.

Can feel the Christmas spirit!

Nope. I believe in only reserving a seat for a spouse or maybe a grandparent. I have never tried to reserve seats, ever, because it is inconsiderate to the other people that are already there. I also believe that the parents should be given priority with regards to setting when it directly involves their children.

Had they been men, they would have also been inconsiderate Bitches.

You trying to portray an image of me not getting along with women is getting old.

There's also a lot of bitches out there.

You're the donk talking about 2.5 lb total increases when 45 lb wheels can be off by as much as 10%, lol. If she needs to jump in 2.5 lb increments at this stage, or even several months down the road, something is very wrong and she hasn't "topped out" and needs to 351 or anything like that.

You have zero clue what you are taking about. You have obviously never trained a woman

I'm not a trainer, no, but I see her bench and see a 10 lb increase in just form alone.

Please tell me if I just ****ed up and work.

After a meeting my boss wanted to talk to me about some more administrative task she wanted me to start doing, and I started talking about how it seems like my job role is transforming into a secretary instead of an engineer.
I told her the things I was working on and asked if she was sure she wanted me to take time away from these "engineering" task that add value to do more paperwork.
She replied with ,"this is what the job is" and I countered that no it's not and not even close to the job description or what the engineers in my role do at other plants and it's the position she is making it. I gave her different examples of things I could do or have done that were passed off to other groups so I could do paperwork. She said that that was the company culture and how people view our group and my position. I told her they think that because she never let's us do anything but bull**** like hanging up signs and writing memos and that the position was evolving into a glorified secretary position. I was indirectly saying that she has us constantly doing bull**** instead of adding value. I said something like, "the company is paying for engineers so why are we being utilized as secretaries" She then said something about she knows I want to eventually transfer to another position and I needed to be successful in this one. I told her I absolutely wanted to be a project manager and would be great in the position, and I could add more value learning the systems and equipment now doing engineering work in my current position. And I of course said really bitchy like, "so I'm not succeeding now?" Haha. She knows the things I've done and implemented have been good. Goddamnit, I know I have to get along with her but it's so frustrating. I could have quickly solved a problem with some valves we were having this morning, but she had me doing some bull**** looking stuff up for her that she can look up her goddamn self. I told her she is just freaking tying my hands behind my back.
The production manager even said to me, "it's different times with the engineers sitting at their desk all day writing about fixing things instead of actually doing it." Ummm, do I look like I'm enjoying doing some bull**** paperwork?

Anyway, how can I get my point across in future conversations without seeming like I think she is a complete moron and doesn't know what the hell she is doing?
12-13-2017 , 02:56 PM
Might be good to setup a meeting and drop the indirect/passive aggressive talking points. The Dale Carnegie book is some primitive ****, but it has wisdom for interpersonal decency.

I think you can reach a point of full disclosure (bluntness) with most superiors, but that respect has to be earned first, and is benefited by finding things in common/building a friendly relationship.

MLYLT,

Unfortunately, I think that ship has sailed.

So I'm going backwards looking for squat videos. Not seeing anything recent, so if you could tape your next ones, that'd be great.

In the meantime I came across this and not reading enough to see if you've had doctor follow-up yet:

Yes arteries, but GOOD GOD do not look at your brainscan without a doctor unless you've been walked through it a dozen times before. Nothing good will come of it.
