Maybe that's the reason that MLY gets so much grief. Losing the weight she's lost is fine, but she could have done so much better and at the very least could have made real strides to changing her habits. Instead, she's ignored advice over and over, and made no real significant changes to her habits.
She's done the easy part of going from morbidly obese to obese.

Different ideals though. She probably needs encouragement for what she is doing right and the constant bashing isn't doing her any favours.
She could do better but she has done a decent job. She should get that credit and encouraged for it.
