Not surprising in the least that the resident Frenchman recommends drinking French alcohol over scotch. For those that make the switch: RIP gains, your manhood, and your ability to stand up for yourself.

Whoawhoawhoa, I don't support consuming alcoholollololtroll of any sort, it's a pointless drug.

I simply don't share most of you bros enthusiasm towards a drug that
a) puts you in CATABOLIC state
b) causes cancer (prolly AIDS too)
c) produces a crappy high
d) functions as a catalyst in 80%+ of violent crimes
e) tastes like ****
f) kills braincells

The crappy high includes stuff like:

Altered speech
Hazy thinking
Slowed reaction time
Dulled hearing
Impaired vision
Weakened muscles
Foggy memory

Sounds like a lot of fun indeed.

ETA:
Why would anyone want to depress their central nervous system, anyway?
If that's your thing, why not do opiates instead? Less harmful to your health and more pleasant high I'd assume.
(have no experience nor interest in such drugs but that's what I've heard)

Alcohol in moderation decreases most people's inhibitions and increases most people's social skills; especially when it comes to initial interactions with the opposite sex.

Also; it is very antiseptic if you have no other way to purify water.

Also; theoretically if used in moderation it can act as a blood thinner and be beneficial to heart health.

I feel bad posting this without his permission, but he apparently wants to start getting up his #s so good for him for recognizing the problem. 10 month transformation. To be fair he does look a lot better than a lot of naturals who did SS and have higher lifts, but lol he's using enough gear for a guy to enter a local NPC show at the 198lb class and place.

Spoiler:

Not using alcohol specifically, but: mood disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar, panic disorders, anxiety, seizures, restless leg syndrom. I know a few people who get very anxious when flying on a plane and they've all told me they do better with a few beers in them before takeoff.

and because it's fun.

loooooool at alcoholic beverages not tasting good. Pummi's still in the yummy phase.

I'm drankin a Samuel Smith russian imperial stout right now it's facking delicious. The chocolate stout and oatmeal stouts are really good from them too. The ciders were wildly disappointing which I was shocked by since they make such gr8 beers. I had a new cider called Kentucky Pete's which was pretty good.

That guy in 2nd spoilered pic is really supposed to be that weak? I wouldn't rule out the possibility that it's just some troll.

I'm smaller than him in "before" pic and about as strong as he supposedly is now.

I'm assuming this is one of pummi's funny trolls, otherwise AB is going to have to actually ban him.

Evo,

Is that guy on a loco style volume monkey program with tons of dropsets and whatnot? Otherwise I don't get it.

Only a lot? He has more mass at a lower body fat than 99% of 'natural' lifters. Maybe a few black dudes with NFL level elite genetics could pull that off naturally; but that is about it.

Been binge re-watching the entire series yesterday and today. Up to season 3 episode 2. Show is way complicated. I'd forgotten a bunch of stuff, and a lot other things either make sense or have a lot more impact seeing the setup/payoff so close together.

if you think the show makes it tough to follow; try reading the books and getting 1 book every 6 years (watching the first season of the show actually helped follow the last book a lot; surprisingly.
05-04-2014 , 04:00 PM
I'm kinda surprised you never read the books fakeb. I thought you were a literary type, after all.
05-04-2014 , 04:05 PM
I tried reading them many years ago and thought they were pieces of **** based off the prologue of book one. I recently read about half of book one and realized that it's just the prologue that sucks balls. I quit reading them though and decided I will hold off until the show is finished. There's a certain purity to watching how the story plays out without foreknowledge, and the books have so much extra (and sometimes very different) stuff that reading them will be like a director's cut.

Yeah the show is alright. Books are like....roughly 100 zachgheadnods better. I would go mad trying to just watch the show. Sooooo many characters and I feel like they don't explain any of the back history that I feel is important.

That is the beauty of the show. You don't need to keep track of much. Don't even need to remember character names, just what they look like. But it does get confusing and ****ing irritating when they recast a character between seasons. Cmonson.

I'm okay with them not explaining the back history in as much detail as the books. I overanalyze way too much stuff as it is. It's nice to have something every now and then that I can turn off my brain and enjoy. Sort of like figuring out my lifting programming. No analysis necessary

This is exactly how I'm approaching GoT. I get the impression that way too many people treat it like they're trying to write a post doc thesis o/s on it.

That **** ain't for me.
