Need to take a week or two off and eat at maintenance then get back on the train. Right before I left I had the lowest average weight since I started, so is going well, plan on getting right back to work for at least 5-6 straight weeks before I have a diet obstacle event again in July

thanks for the advice, I fear a diet break will just turn into me eating like a pig, gaining a bunch of weight, getting pissed and then having a hell of a time getting back on the deficit train but maybe thats what I need.

I've been going a it for 55+ weeks with maybe half a dozen binge days during that time (4 were last week)--and my binge days were never as bad as how I used to eat daily (no wonder I got fat).

Just plan your diet break like a normal diet only you’re eating more calories…also maybe don’t throw a lot of bad food in there, just a little more fruit, rice, whatever…not like hella burgers/fries/ice cream whatever.

Soufflé potatoes were interesting and good, but they weren’t the best dish there. The shrimp and grits were very rich and delicious, as was the baked Alaska and the shrimp dish that was not pictured. Antoine’s gumbo was super disappointing…needed some spice to it but it was just bland. Needed at least some andouille, lots of good seafood but was really bland and without spice. Did not get enough good gumbo unfortunately, but Cochon’s was pretty good.

Atchafalaya’s shrimp and grits might have been best dish I had during trip.
