Weighed in at 136.4 lbs. Last night I began my new master plan to get my gainz back. I ordered 12 lbs of salmon, mackerel and sardines from Vital Choice. Then I saw Vitacost was having a buy one get one half off sale so I got 10 lbs of their generic whey powder for like $70, and a box of Quest bars. I've never had a Quest bar but the ingredient list looked decent and I need more lazy ways to get calories. Tonight I'll order a couple boxes of Epic bars and a ****ton of plantain ships and dried fruit. Then tomorrow I hit Whole Foods for a couple whole chickens and a few lbs of catfish, a few lbs of rice, few gallons of ice cream, and whatever else.

Back on the wagon today, I didn't sleep well and I had no energy so my workout was fueled by nothing but repressed rage lol.

I've also struggled with severe social anxiety most of my life so i can relate to most of what you're saying. Question - does your voice ever crack when speaking while nervous. I've found my voice shaking whenever I'm nervous in social interactions and I hate myself for it. I think I hate the sound of my voice too

My voice doesn't crack, but sometimes when I'm talking while nervous my chest gets so tight that I literally can't talk and I start whispering. I'll randomly whisper 3-4 words in a row and then have to repeat them because obv no one could hear what I was saying. It happens most often when I'm talking on the phone.

I also hate the sound of my voice. I sound like a 9 year old that just got kicked in the stomach.

The wood chopper is a new one for me, I did it with resistance bands hooked on a doorknob. Felt like it hit the obliques really well.

Today was kind of a do-whatever-I feel-like day. All the pulldown/pushdown stuff is with resistance bands. I like the tricep pushdown a lot more than the overhead tricep extension cuz it was hurting my elbows.

Ate a lot of fish, plantain chips, and ice cream.

I'm generally a socially ******ed assburger person. I have 3 friends, all women. 2 of them I occasionally have lunch with. 1 of them said she wanted to go running with me when it gets warmer, so that's a motivation for me to improve my cardio fitness.

I'm a baker/pastry cook/chef whatever. Currently unemployed.

I am convinced that pistols are fictional. I know I have seen people do them in videos and pictures and stuff but I call trick photography or flat out CGI or something.

I can do all of these except hold the bottom position. I can't hold at the bottom without totally rounding my back, and then I can only hold it for 10-15 seconds before I lose my balance and start rolling back.

You are much closer to being able to complete a pistol squat than I am. I can't come close to holding the bottom of one. Nice instructor.

Just checked my email and they responded saying my resume looks great, they want me to stage next week.

I''m a pastry guy so no slaving over a grill or carving meat for me . I looked up their menu online, seems like I'd be making a lot of dulce de leche, caramelized bananas, various coconut things. It sounded like yummy stuff imo.

I've dealt with anxiety and depression in the past. What helped the most was removing things from my life that caused anguish, and also finding a purpose in life. It's almost like a disease. You can't let it take over. You have to fight it.

The job interview/stage went well. The people all seemed pretty chill. I didn't **** anything up or have a panic attack, so that was a small victory in itself even if I don't get the job.

Haven't done any lifting for 4 days. I think that's the main reason my anxiety was so low today. I've been chilling, just walking a little each day, not eating sugar, and making sure I sleep well.

I think I got hella allergies, my head felt like it was in a vise and I was sneezing and blowing my nose nonstop. No energy for lifting.

Wieghed 137.6 lbs.

Still had runny nose but I was better and had more energy.

I just realized that calf raises are supposed to be done with your toes elevated a little to get the full ROM, so I started doing that today.

The weather in Chicago is getting good, finally. The plan is to start making more of an effort to improve cardio fitness. I'll try to go outside and run a little tomorrow.

I can definitely feel my abs have gained some mass, it's probably the area I've made the most gains in, although it's hard to see because I have some fat over them, and I'm pale AF. Gotta admit I'm curious how I'd look if I cut some weight and got a fake tan, but lol @ a guy who's been lifting for 5 months cutting.

I'm getting a decent idea of which areas require more/less work for me. I think I need to work the chest and shoulders more and if I could do something less it would be abs. Part of the problem is that I have a fat Irish head which looks out of proportion to my skinnyass shoulders. If I keep gaining mass around my stomach, that'll just add to the A-taper imo.
