cut starts sun/mon as I read a little more and make myself a meal plan. prob gonna drink a couple beers this weekend to get ready for it.

man my back was flat as ****. clearly not lifting heavy enough.

Lololol. I was like "Well my diet starts monday might as well have a few things I like before going on it" It turned out to be a a whole bunch of crap before I went on the diet. Not that there's anything wrong with it. I wish I did drink a little more beer before I did it, though.

It's like the guys that know they are going to drug rehab the next day and get as high as humanly possible before they go.

seems like off the floor is my weak point. For a second I thought I was gonna miss, like halfway up my shins. granted that's a near max, but maybe if I weren't suxing dix with power cleans I'd be a little better there. Other than that I'm really pleased.

Maybe I should start wearing a belt.

There are pulling variations for the different parts of the DL in the SS book, btw. Maybe some of those help you.

i think I had 415 maybe 420 in me. I need a little more confidence off the floor. I get mentally concerned early on in the lift. I dont think my back is anything special. Early on, I focused really hard on locking my back, contracting my lower back and spinal extensors, lats locked down and back to get my chest up, etc. I just trained it, imo. My one benefit is I seem to have a good idea of "knowing" my body position (whatever that word is). Some people around here seem to struggle with that.

re: grip strength. There's that vid where KK holds 727 for 20+ seconds.

got sick on saturday and didn't really clear up until yesterday. still stuffed up and blowin' mad snot. too lazy for tables again.

bench:
180x5x2
180x4 (f 5th).

meh. kinda tweaked my low back on the first set. Almost had the last rep. Real strong bench dude, small japanese guy who benches in the high 5s shirted, told me to start benching with his crew. Everytime I come in on Mon or Thur they're there doing various board presses. Might give it a shot just for fun.

squat: 315x5x3

kinda mini-reset after being sick. Decided to cardiotard and limit it myself to 5min rest. Probably coulda done 4. Not super hard but not easy.

not doing the mistake tomorrow. Probably just heavy DL set and an easy-ish metcon.

diet wise I was ~maintenance today but missed my deficit. Mostly because of a team lunch at a buffet. gonna get it sorted out this weekend. need a little more carbs cuz I was goin' crazy this morning after a <100g day yesterday.
