These weren't as bad today. Think just realizing RPE will scale up on a fixed weight with 2-3 minute rest keeps things manageable.

similar fake news as usual. Was in CT visiting friends this weekend and had some pizza and halloweeen candy, but also stayed at Foxwoods Friday night and stopped through on the drive home yesterday. Just so damn dry there. Playing stud does damper the appetite at least.

Looking forward to the low stress week as I got a couple nagging aches and pains. Left hamstring a bit sore and I got this weird little ball deep in my left forearm. Doesn't really hurt though it's a bit sensitive to touch. Not sure what it is.

First set wasn't heavy, but the bar rolled outta place in my bull grip and was in a really uncomfortable position and threw my groove off. Second set was heavy. Tired.

Didn't have time for paused DLs as gym was closing. I drank too much yesterday so early morning workout wasn't happening. Prob not a big deal as my groin is still a little jacked up.

Looks like the bulldog grip is working out well for you.

Does using wrist straps make a difference on your wrists when you bench? I’m curious because my wrists hurt a little when doing longish pause work.

lol. This was supposed to be 355x6 @7, 365x6x2 @8, but the first set was heavy so I decided to keep the weight. And then the 2nd set nearly killed me. Maybe weasel amounts of beer on Sunday wasn't a great idea.

mostly fine. Doing 6 reps def changes things.
