Day 16:
Same. New time PR

Time: 31:17

I was on pace for 30 through 3 rounds. Fell a bit behind in 4th then let up a bit on the last two sets once I realized I wasn't gonna make it.

Think I can do it though. Basically have to limit between round rests to 90s.

Obesity rate in India is between 20 to 40% depending on the source you look at.

Yeah, fatty rate in India is through the roof. A lot of skinnyfats (was one) that can disguise it somewhat.

Given loco's opinions on rice, and the desire of Indians to consume it, that was one very surprising conclusion from the locobro.

India is the 8th least obese country in the world. By BMI according to WHO.

USA and México both top 20.

Don't care what's changing lately, those are the numbers 2021.

Not responding anymore, melkerson is the biggest time waster ever in this forum.

You don't have to take my word for it, just listen to Arjun.

The problem with the WHO table that I assume you are referring to is that it looks at mean BMI (you could link the specific chart you're referring to, that would be helpful) . So if you had one country with half the people at BMI at 30 and the other half at BMI of 10, they would average out to 20 and would look exactly the same as a country that had everyone at a BMI of 20. So you can't figure out how many obese people there are just by looking at the mean.

India is kind of like that. Obesity is rampant among people who can afford enough food to be obese. There are also hundreds of millions of people who are protected from obesity by such abject poverty that they don't have access to enough food to be obese. But if you average all these people out, you end up with a number that is not so bad.

First he gave up the squats and deadlifts.

Then the meat.

Now he has given up beer.

A love of DesiHits?

Despite above, I still think we're seeing peak kc. So, it's all fine.

Not sure what to do. Maybe find a gym this weekend. Right now just KB squats and presses and swings super boring.

Ok. So I think I'll actually maintain a log as I've joined a gym. I moved while we still house hunt and it's reasonably close to a decent gym for an OK price.

Touched a barbell for the first time in 2+ years Saturday. Still got doms. Doing a modified "beginner template" from BBM for next 3-4 weeks. Modified to make it 4 days a week. I'm lol weak.

All lifts beltless for a while.

So like I said, weak, but DL I'm prob overselling. It felt good. Bench too. Squat meh.

Subbed.

I'm definitely going to be super jealous when you get back to repping out 3 plate squats in like 2 months or something ridiculous after a layoff like that. Nevertheless, it's great to see you back in the iron game.

Weird. Gym has two cable rows, one bilateral one unilateral. Bilateral one I messed with and 120 was ez. Unilateral, still using both hands at same time, was way heavier.

Maybe makes more sense to put rows on d1 and deadlifts on d2. We'll see.

Also decided I'm never doing another barbell row for as long as I live.

Solid choice. I decided that shortly after my first set. If I feel the need to row, it's DB rows for me. I'm weak enough that I don't need to worry about not having enough weight.

How is the BW. Still in the 170s?

What happened to the swimming?

170 even this morning.

Swimming has been on backburner due to life stuff. We will resume it. Our new place has a pool that opens memorial day. Or once we get a house, we'll get back to the community pool. Prob only on weekends.

Sad to see the demise of the forum. We went from meat eating bigboy lifters to vegan DYEL pencil necks.

Maybe kidcolin can find a middle ground.
