I don't think it would increase the mods' workload much - when issuing a timeout, I'd warn that posting in the log during the timeout period could be deemed a repeat offense and result in a perma from it, and only PM a mod if a perma is needed.

You can ban anyone you want from your log for however long you want.

The biggest problem with casting a movie based on a book is that every person who has read it already has an image in their head of what the character should look like and this would be especially true in a novel that would lead to maturbation fantasies.
