Just train front squats as primary IMO. It isn't like there's a dramatic difference in training effect between the major squat variations.
That's an option but why not correct the imbalances opposed to ignoring them?

Why not do both? You can get really strong on fronts (and thus, all squat variations) by training them in a 531-style progression, while working on your back squat as accessory work.

Not to mention that front squats are often an effective remedy for many weak points in one's back squat.

If your lower back is bothering you sitting then you're probably sitting wrong or sitting in one position for way to long.

You probably are not sitting on your, well, sitz bones, either.
the little red dots.

Or if you are, you are probably hyper extending your back thinking you are creating a neutral spine when in fact you are not and all you're doing is causing the muscles of the lower back to tighten.

Or both - not on sitz and either flexing your lower back into the back of the chair or hyper extending thinking you are maintaining neutral.

I know, sitting is hard.

That's both a joke and actually kind of serious.

I'm like sitting forward-ish on my chair the whole day and I'll stand up for some parts of the day just to get my blood flowing lol. And well I don't know if it hurts from sitting that long or it was sore from doing legs.
